Lottery Picks was written to assist picking of random lottery numbers. When you press the "Generate New Numbers" button you see five random numbers between one and 39 plus a Bonus Ball random number within this range.

These are the picks needed to play the Maryland lottery. Every time you press the "Generate New Numbers" button, you get a new set of random numbers.

If you wish to pick numbers for a different lottery, click on the "Other Lotteries" button. There are drop-down menus to select the number of picks (one to seven), the number range (from two to 75 in steps of one) and a check box to ask for a Bonus Ball number. These choices allow you to get the numbers you need for the lottery of your choice.

As for the first window, you can press the "Generate New Numbers" as often as you want and a new set of numbers will be displayed every time. You can also change the drop-down menus and "Include?" checkbox settings and the display will adjust accordingly.

Ever feel like youve lost touch with your albums whilst using iTunes? Always find yourself listening to nothing but Singles? Well, have no fear, Album Picker is here! OK, well maybe its not quite that great. But basically, I wrote this program to pick albums for me to listen to. Just set what criteria you require, and Album Picker will look through your Library and pick an album for you.
You can set it to favour those albums youve rated higher than others, as well as those which havent been rated yet. Also, Album Picker can ignore the Singles in your collection (i.e. those with less than 4 tracks say).
As you can see, this is only version 0.4 of the app. So feel free to contact me with any requests for features at stu03ma@rdg.ac.uk. And if any kind soul feels like making me an icon for Album Picker (I am terrible at anything graphics related!) then dont hesitate to do so!

QuickPicker 1 is designed as a convenient software with an aim to save the color you picked to the clipboard in Hexadecimal value (html). The quickest way to pick a color, quicker then the regular OSX panel. It only uses the screen picker control of the regular panel. It's very handy as a dock tool or as a Finder window toolbar item.

AutoBackup is a small Applescript that automatically makes a backup of the FaceSpan documents dropped on it, then opens them.
If you dont have FaceSpan just pick some other app when it asks.

Today In Discordia is a tool that runs as a faceless application so that the only real GUI it has is a status item in your menu bar.

Anytime you want to see today’s discordian date, just access the menu under the golden apple (selecting the menu item copies the date to the clipboard).

On the off chance that you want the discordian date for any day but today, the Calendar menu item will allow you to pick a day to calculate the date for.

By default, Today In Discordia displays the current discordian date along with a random quote when it launches. This behavior can be turned off in the Preferences panel, if you are so inclined.

LottoCalc can calculate the odds of matching numbers in any Pick X lottery. As long as all the balls are drawn out of one bin this program will work.

It allows for both the calculationof the straight odds of any given lottery, or the odds of matching numbers when playing with a wheel.
