SMSNotify is a free iPhone script that vibrates your iPhone every 15 seconds when you have an unread SMS.
The script is quite simple - it just queries the SMS database for unread SMSes, and if there are any, it calls the vibrator utility that vibrates the phone for a short time.
SMSNotify is written in shell script so if you want to customize it to be able to do other things its easy to modify. When your phone is asleep it wont be every 15 seconds but will wait until the phone silently wakes up (to check your e-mail generally) before it can vibrate again.
System requirements:

Turbo widget allows you to toggle the CPU performance between Automatic and Highest.
This is accomplished by calling pmset, the command-line tool to modify power management settings.
Pmset requires administrative rights to run, so your administrator password has to be entered on the preferences side of the widget.

Update Remote Folders is an AppleScript droplet to selectively synchronize the contents of local folders with the contents of remote folders. Its purpose is to help reduce network traffic (afp/ip) by syncing only updated and new files.

The synchronizing occurs only one-way (local > remote).
This script was created for a specific network environment, so it will need to be modified to the users speciications before use.
