Listen! is a tool designed for those of you who listening to certain sounds brings back memories or brings you particular pleasure? For some, that might be a dinner bell, a train whistle or the call of the loon in the wild.

That is called an audible anchor. Listen! helps you repeat that experience any time you wish. Listen! can also be used as a friendly timer to let you know your study time, nap time, exercise time, etc., is up.

When you launch Listen? you see a small, simple Control Window with two pushbuttons. Click on the "Setup" button to bring up the Setup Window.

The Setup Window provides a choice of three modes plus sliders to set the time between sounds (ten seconds to sixty minutes).

When you first launch Listen! a folder titled "ListenSounds" is placed in the Users/~/Documents folder. (On Windows XP, this folder is created in the My Documents folder.) Wav sound files with a ".wav" prefix placed in that folder are used by this application.

When you next launch Listen! these sound files will be recognized and used.
