Free to hide software for mac

Hide will start certain programs at when you log-in to your account.

Pretty basic stuff. The only problem with that is most of those apps are programs I run minimized and I am too lazy to to minimize them every time I log-in so I created this very basis Automator workflow to do the job.

Labrador Hide All is a small AppleScript to hide all applications and finder windows.

Useful for users without Expose, or if you hate Expose. Place it in your dock to launch it.

Completly freeware.

SysStat Widget 2 is a very serviceable tool which allows you to view memory usage, CPU usage, network stats, uptimes, load averages and the top 3 process s from one simple widget.

Hide-Out! allows you to hide and password protect a folder in the Finder. Now also sets the folders invisible bit which means that its still invisible when you boot into Mac OS 9.

Notes about security:
this program uses the standard functionality of the operating system to make folders and files invisible. For the majority of users, any folder of file made invisible becomes inaccessible with standard Finders windows browsing but please be warned that there are some applications that let you open also invisible files and that experienced users could, with particular expertise, gain access to a folder or file made invisible.
