Update-Virex Definitions is an AppleScript that checks to see if a Virus Definitions file (on a server volume) is newer than the one you have.

If yours is older, then the newer version will replace your version of the Definitions file.

Virus Update files contain up-to-date virus signatures and other information for Virex to use to protect your computer against the thousands of computer viruses in circulation and against the hundreds of new viruses that emerge between updates.

Virex Virus Definitions are released as needed. Also known as a DAT file, they hold information that allows the program Virex to eliminate the newest viruses, trojan horses, and other harmful things on your computer.

This update package replaces the virus definition (DAT) files and the virus-scanning engine within your Virex 7 installation.

These items help Virex to keep your Apple computer free of viruses, Trojan horses and other malicious code.

The New Date Folder AppleScript creates a folder with the current date as its name and with dropped items as its content. Double click on it to set date format (default is DD.MM.YYYY).

Modify Date Received is an Entourage AppleScript that will enable you to change the Date Received of an incoming message. So much for the legality of email, eh?

Just select the mail, run the script, insert the new date and thats it.

Date Converter 1.0 provides you with a fast and efficient date converter from Gregorian to Hijri and vice-versa.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 or later

Calculates and displays the Date, time and Lunar Latitude per month for a given year (includes offsets from Prime Meridian and either UT or local time).
The routines are written in BASIC, are not object oriented and make some assumptions about both software and hardware platforms.
Lunar orbital accuracy is a non-trivial task. The equations for New Moon Dates are derived from the equations used in the book: "Astronomy with Your Personal Computer" by Peter Duffett-Smith.The accuracy claimed in the book is accurate to within two minutes (page 172 of the second edition).The information displayed is the date of the New Moon and the New Moons latitude.You will have to decide if this is enough accuracy for your needs.
