TimeSlice 4.4 is a very flexible and effective time-tracking & billing application for consultants, attorneys, graphic and web designers, or anyone who bills for time, or just wants to keep track of time events. TimeSlice has been helping people track time since 1994, when it was first sold as TimeTracker.

Major Features:

Whether you will find The Big Red Button useful or not, will depend very much on how you work at your computer. The program itself was designed to solve one very specific requirement that I had&emdash; I needed a very quick and easy way to start recording a block of time, while sitting in front of my computer.
Other timing apps can be great and very useful. I continually use TimeSlice by Maui Software, and this has one very useful function&emdash;after several minutes of inactivity the timer automatically turns off. This means if I get up from my desk to make a cup of coffee, the timer does not continue to record time against the project that Im working on.
However, there are times, such as when the phone rings, or when someone walks into my office when the auto-pause feature of TimeSlice is not what I need. In these cases I need some form of stopwatch to record the amount of time I spend in this unexpected activity&emdash;thus the Big Red Button was born.
Double-click the application and it will start timing. Press the start/stop button to turn it on/off. The top portion of the window is editable, so you can modify times, add notes and so on.
The notes section can be printed, or you can use drag and drop to drag it someplace else.
Simple. Probably been done a million times before, but hey, its fun to write your own programs!
