Itll let you set an alarm to go off at a specific time or in a certain number of minutes, and then itll play a random track from an iTunes playlist.
To add variety, it wont play any of the last 10 tracks it has already picked. That little gimmicky feature is really the only thing this program does that other programs dont.
I had a similar alarm system set up in Windows, and basically I wanted the same thing in Mac OS X.

I wanted to learn how to read raw Ethernet packets on MacOS X. After going through several examples, I ended up writing this little piece of software. It uses the Berkeley Packet Filter device to read all incoming and outgoing Ethernet packets. I have wrapped the whole thing in a Cocoa GUI using the new bindings features of Mac OS 10.3.
