Sherlock Weather Channel 0.8 is created as the first and only weather channel for the new Sherlock 3, which provides current conditions, a local doppler radar map, and a 10 day forecast. The information is gathered from weather.com and displayed in the Sherlock window.

If you already have the channel installed, it will be automatically updated. If you are installing the channel for the first time, follow the two Download Now links. Sherlock will start up and a dialog will ask you if you would like to proceed. Click yes and you're done.

NOAA Weather Center widget is a powerful, and fun way to get all the weather information you need. Just enter your address, city, or zip code and you get instant access to animated radar, forecasts, current conditions, and important weather alert bulletins.
All of the data comes straight from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations National Weather Service.
The NOAA Weather Center widget gets all of its data from NOAAs National Weather Service, which is a United States government agency (see the disclaimer for more information). That means that it should work almost anywhere in the United States or its territories.
However, since it also uses the service at GeoCoder.us to get location data (translating your address or city into latitude and longitude coordinates), it wont work in places that GeoCoder.us does not have the necessary information for.

MapQuest Sherlock Channel 1.0 comes as a useful tool which can display a map with pan and zoom controls (all locations worldwide), and directions to the specified address (US only).
