The Widgetizer
The Widgetizer - An Automator Workflow that is able to convert selected folders into a widget package. more>> Side-chaining compressors are amazingly useful effects. They are standard issue tools for vocal ducking in radio production, to fade out music when a narrator is speaking. They are also insanely popular in dance production, able to make your whole mix "pump" or "breathe" by following a kick drum.
Unfortunately, side-chaining in software can be tricky. Some audio programs simply do not support it, others require pretty complex routing techniques.
The good news is that Sidechain Compressor is easy to use, and works in almost any audio software package - even those that do not directly support side-chaining***. It only takes a few mouse clicks and youre up and running!
Features:
* all-new compression algorithm with great vintage sound
* easy multi track side-chaining based on db audiowares Universal Sidechains
* one-to-one-track or one-to-many-tracks side-chaining
* elegant user interface with clear visual feedback
* precision control over the compression response (EQ & Shape)
* gain control for manual gain make-up or fine adjustment of output level
* auto-gain with integrated limiter
* full MIDI control, with easy to use MIDI Learn<<less

The NATural 1.0b2
The NATural - Configure NAT routing on Mac OS X Server 10.4 more>>
Apples Server Admin software provides only a limited interface to control NAT routing functions. The underlying process, natd, can accept many more arguments. Although Server Admin does not provide an interface to these functions, it does respect all settings that natd supports. The NATural allows you to easily configure these settings.
The NATural was developed in response to my own need to configure NAT routing as an administrator of several Mac OS X Server systems. I quickly became frustrated with editing the natd.plist file each time I wanted to make a change. Furthermore, I was also annoyed that there was no quick and easy way to disable but save IP and Port Forwarding rules. Why couldnt configuring NAT be as easy as configuring the firewall? Now it is!
Enhancements:
- no longer asks for password twice on first launch
- fixed interface menu to read non-physical interfaces
- added "Other..." option in interface menu
- fixed several "Error in helper tool response" errors
- error messages now more specific where possible
- now asks to apply changes if necessary before starting or restarting NAT
- port forwarding rules must now include both a target and destination port, this is a restriction imposed by serveradmin
- punch_fw, custom divert ports, and remote IP/port specifications of port forwarding rules now hidden (ignored by serveradmin)
- expanded help
- log drawer performance and memory usage improved
- better handling of malformed port forwarding and IP forwarding rules.

The 70s 1.0
The 70s - This is a strange visualization, but the 70s were an excuse for things even then more>>
I recommend to set the fps setting to max in the general iVisualize options or reduce the rotationSpeed in the settings of this compositions.
The rotation of the background is based on the dimension of the spectrum and is very flexible. In the default it starts very slow and get fast when everyone in the choir is screaming.
You can create strange effects by setting minRotationSpeed to -100. If you want it smoother (not so sound responsive) you can set the rotation smoothness to max. Or you can have a fixed speed by giving minRotationSpeed and maxRotationSpeed the same value.
Its up to you and your music.
Enjoy!
(If this visualization seems to be stuttering, increase the smoothRotation value).
The Unarchiver 2.0
The Unarchiver is designed as an effective and convenient compression tool which is a much more capable replacement for BOMArchiveHelper.app, the built-in archive unpacker program in Mac OS X. more>>
The Unarchiver 2.0 is designed as an effective and convenient compression tool which is a much more capable replacement for "BOMArchiveHelper.app", the built-in archive unpacker program in Mac OS X.
The Unarchiver is designed to handle many more formats than BOMArchiveHelper, and to better fit in with the design of the Finder. It can also handle filenames in foreign character sets, created with non-English versions of other operating systems. I personally find it useful for opening Japanese archives, but it should handle many other languages just as well.
It is very simple to use and install - simply copy it into your Applications folder or whereever you prefer, and then set archive filetypes to open using it. This can either be done the usual way, or by double-clicking the icon to show The Unarchiver's preferences.
Supported file formats include Zip, Tar-GZip, Tar-BZip2, RAR, 7-zip, LhA, StuffIt and many other more and less obscure formats. The goal is to make The Unarchiver able to extract anything you give it. The Unarchiver uses the libxad unarchiving library to support many older, obscure formats.
If you have a compressed file that The Unarchiver does not open, please post a bug on the bug tracker, and include the file in question, and I will look into whether it is possible to add support for it!
Major Features:
- Supports more formats than I can remember. Zip, Tar, Gzip, Bzip2, 7-Zip, Rar, LhA, StuffIt, several old Amiga file and disk archives, CAB, LZX, stuff I don't even know what it is.
- Copies the Finder file-copying/moving/deleting interface for its interface.
- Uses the character set autodetection code from Mozilla to auto-detect the encoding of the filenames in the archives.
- Supports split archives for certain formats, like RAR.
- Built around libxad. This is an old Amiga library for handling unpacking of archives. It supports a whole lot of formats, and I added a couple more, and bugfixed old code. I also wrote a higher-level Objective-C wrapper around it, which might be useful for other projects too (including Xee).
Enhancements:
- Support for many new formats and algorithms:
-
- Partial support for SITX archives. Most archives should open fine, but SITX's special JPEG compression is unsupported. (If you are a programmer and want to help out with getting this working, I'd be happy to hear from you!) Some preprocessing filters are also unsupported.
- Other new formats: XAR, ALZip, LZMA-utils, Compact Pro, PackIt, ARJ
- Encrypted RAR archives.
- WinZip-style encrypted Zip files using AES.
- Can decompile NSIS installers to get the files inside. This seems to work for versions all the way back to 1.1o or so, but a lot of guessing is involved so it might fail on some files.
- More compression types in Zip: Deflate64, bzip2, PPMd, LZMA.
- More compression types in DiskDoubler (but still not all).
- Better handling of 7-zip, RAR, LZH, tar and RPM files.
- Extracting files from several emulation formats, such as NDS and ADF.
- Bugfixes and streamlining for the user interface.
- Option for when to create folders for extracted files.
- Option for how to set the date of extracted folders.
