The Battle of Alberta represents the name of one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports, namely the Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames. It is also the name of a blog that follows both sides of that rivalry to the joy of Albertans everywhere.

This widget combines the RSS feed for the latest posts on BoA as well as the schedule for the 8 "battles" that will take place this season and seasons to come...
It also features an up to date count on games/battles won by both teams.
All game times are localized and scores will be updated after the games have concluded. (Please allow some time for this, as it is done manually.)

Battlegram is a client that connects to the public chat interface ("Chat") of Blizzard Entertainments Battle.net Internet gaming service. It enables Mac users of Battle.net to communicate with other Battle.net users without having to use one of Blizzards game clients.
Battlegram only connects to the Chat part of Battle.net and does not even touch the private binary part of Battle.net. It will only connect to a recognized Battle.net realm, of which there are four at the time of this writing (USWest, USEast, Europe, and Asia).
Battlegram is not a Battle.net hacking tool and will not perform anything currently forbidden by Battle.nets Terms of Use.

- Plays a sound effect when a user talks in a group, or whispers you (this can be turned on and off)

Enhancements:

- The preferences file has been changed from "Battlegram.plist" to "com.attbi.home.dreamless.Battlegram.plist".
- Finally fixed the packet fragmentation bug. Previous versions had problems with commands sent out in separate packets.
- Added a shortcut to whisper to someone who is in the same channel.
- Fixed problems with prebinding.

BattleZone was originally an arcade game in the early 80s. It uses wireframe 3D graphics to simulate tank-vs-tank battle. A Fortran version was written by Justin S Revenaugh (MIT/86). This was ported to C and the X Window System by Todd W. Mummert (CMU/90) in 1990.

In porting BattleZone to MacOSX, we have subsituted the Cocoa Framework where the X Window System had been used. Of course, you can still build and run the original X Window version of the game on MacOSX using XFree86 (if you are something of a Unix weenie).
