Free the application was unable to retrieve information from the server software for mac

I was unable to find a way to use the keyboard to remove messages from the server without actually deleting them, something I do all the time in an effort to use one POP account in two places without missing things at home I cant deal with at work.

The Delete message from server AppleScript will do it neatly. I based this on Delete from Server X, an existing script that deleted messages from the server but only those in the trash, and only all of them, and also emptied the trash. I needed per-message control.

My version removes only the *selected* messages from the server. It has an advantage over the mouse-only native way to do this in Entourage in that it will work if you have messages selected that both are and arent still on the server. Yay.

The 10.5.7 update is recommended for all servers running Leopard Server.

Apple Keychain First Aid 1.0 is designed as a update to resolve issues in which:

• A user's .Mac password is not retained in Internet preference pane, as described in technical document 107097, "Mac OS X 10.2: Won't Save .Mac Password".
• Mail and iChat could continue to prompt users for their password after saving it in the keychain.
• A user could be unexpectedly prompted to unlock the keychain after changing account information or Home directory location.
• Duplicate Mail passwords could appear in the keychain, as described in technical document 106546, "Mac OS X 10.1: Re-enter Mail Password After Upgrade".
• Multiple references to the same keychain could appear in the Keychain Access application.
• Applications are unable to retrieve items from a keychain file located on a network volume.
• Saved passwords could not be read if they were created or modified by certain pre-release versions of Jaguar.
• A Keychain dialog can sometimes prompt for permission to decrypt a "(null)" item.

About this update
This document provides information about the Mac OS X Server administration software applications. These applications can be installed on a computer other than your server to remotely administer Mac OS X Server.

Installers

The Installers folder contains server remote administration software that you can install on a computer other than your server.

Server Administration Software

The ServerAdministrationSoftware.mpkg contains administration software and tools that you can install on a computer other than your server. These tools require Mac OS X v10.4 or later.

Server Admin
For configuring service settings, monitoring server activity, logging information and the state of each service.

Workgroup Manager
For managing share points, users, group and computer lists, privileges and Managed Network View.

Server Monitor
For monitoring the hardware status of Xserve servers.

System Image Utility
For creating, modifying and managing NetBoot and Network Install disk images.

Server Assistant
For remote installations and initial configuration of Mac OS X Server.

Gateway Setup Utility
For setting up an Internet Gateway, Firewall and VPN.

QuickTime Broadcaster
To use in conjunction with QuickTime Streaming Server to broadcast live audio and video streams.

Xgrid Admin
For administration and monitoring the activity of Xgrid clusters.

QTSS Publisher
The QTSSPublisher.pkg contains the QTSS Publisher application for installation on client computers. QTSS Publisher can be used to upload media to Mac OS X Server, prepare media for streaming, and to setup and manage video and audio playlists for publishing with QuickTime Streaming Server.

The Documentation folder contains the getting started guide in PDF format. This folder also contains information about additional documentation, including onscreen help and more administration and orientation guides.

Apple Netboot for OS9 is identical to the NetBoot for Mac OS 9 software included with Mac OS X Server 10.2 (Jaguar).

Early NetBoot capable Macintoshes will not be able to use the feature of obtaining IP addresses from a DHCP server.

Newer Macintoshes are all NetBoot capable, although some will need the latest Open Firmware Update to use DHCP. You can obtain the Open Firmware Update atwww.apple.com/support.

You should run the proper Update on all Macintoshes you plan to use for NetBoot.

Refer to the Admin Guide.pdf on the Mac OS X Server CD for more detailed information about this new feature of NetBoot and for system requirements for yourNetBoot client machines.

You must install the NetBoot client image provided on this CD.
Earlier or updated versions will not have the necessary modifications for the newer NetBoot features.

The NetBoot client image contains a default user that allows you to get to the finder when aMacintosh Manager Sever cant be found.
The default user name is NBUser with the password netboot.

Audioscrobbler iTunes Plugin 0.6.3 is considered as a simple to use, yet sophisticated computer system that builds up a detailed profile of your musical taste.

After installing an Audioscrobbler Plugin, your computer sends the name of every song you play to the Audioscrobbler Server. With this information, the Audioscrobbler server builds you a 'Musical Profile'. Statistics from your Musical Profile are shown on your Audioscrobbler User Page, available for everyone to view.

There are lots of people using Audioscrobbler, but usually only the people who like the same sort of music to you are interesting. The Audioscrobbler Server calculates which people are most similar to you, based on shared musical taste, so you can take a look at what your peers are listening to.

With this information, Audioscrobbler is able to automatically generate suggestions for new songs/artists you might like. These suggestions are based on the same principals as Amazon's "People who bought this also bought X,Y,Z", but because the Audioscrobbler data is what people are actually listening to, the suggestions tend to make more sense.
