Welcome to Text Trix[tm], the text tinker from Text Flex[tm]! Text Trix is a one-stop tool chest of text tools. Pick from an array of Text Trix "plug-ins," specialized tools that allow you to modify large amounts of text quickly and specifically. The tool chest has its own built-in features to help you organize and navigate through your code or text documents.

- Our v.0.5.1 release of Text Trix is the first bug-cruncher in our new FRIENDS (Family of Really Innovative ENDS) series. Our goal in this series is to get serious about making friends of Text Trix. Were seeking to create a family of plugins that will be a one-stop resource, and "end" to your search for text tools that make your typing easier. Text Sucker is a utility (saved as an AppleScript droplet) for extracting the text from QuarkXPress documents. As its name implies, it requires QuarkXPress version 4.11.

Just drag-and-drop one or more XPress files on to Text Suckers icon, and you will be given the opportunity to change some preferences (see below).

Text Sucker will then open and copy the text from each file one at a time, and save it in a text file.

Text wallet is a simple panel for storing and recalling to the clipboard frequently used text strings, just write to permanently store to disk, just touch text field for auto-copying text to the clipboard -ready to paste. Text strings may be multi-line.

V Text Selection is a small AppleScript which double-slopes a line of text (making a v or a ^). You may input slant values between -100 and 100.

Zero is the base line number of the original text.

Completly freeware.

Text to Phone Number is a small AppleScript that will take a phone number which contains text, convert it into its numerical equivalent and then display the result.
All user interaction is handled via Dialog Director windows. It will also allow the result to be placed on the clipboard so that it can be pasted elsewhere.
Enhancements:
- Adds a "Reset" button to the result window.

Text Wielder allows you to create your own services or use any of the 120+ provided including "Search Apple Help", "Translations", "Sort Text Lines" and many more. The Text Wielder service menu is highly configurable and allows you to add and remove services as necessary and rename menu items.
You can create services for applications that do not support services, including classic applications, by using AppleScript. Any services you create can be added to the service menu and you can easily share your services with other users.
Services can be easily configured to run AppleScripts, open a URL, modify text, display results in a dialog box, or create a new text file.
Text Wielder also includes an interactive text manipulation language called SFRL(Simple Find and Replace Language). SFRL uses a very powerful combination of a modified regular expression syntax and JSPs to modify text.

Text Easy is a smal amd very simple text editor written in REALBasic for Mac OS X.

It can succesfully replace the TextEdit application and is completly freeware.
