iTarget is a simple little moving-target game. The object is simple: try to click on the moving target. There are a total of 5 targets per level and 10 levels. As you move up on the level ladder, the target moves faster and faster. Also, there are three difficulty settings.

These adjust the amount of time available for each level. Easy lets you have 60 seconds to complete a level, Medium allows 45 seconds, and Hard allows only 30 seconds. Although this game may seem simple and easy, it gets vary hard and is addictive.

TargetScanner is designed as a GUI on top of the UNIX targetscan application made by Lewis et al, that predicts mammalian MicroRNA Targets.

These microRNAs are very similar to the short interference RNAs that are used in iRNAi, but instead of inducing the degradation of a proteins messenger RNA, microRNA work by suppressing its translation.

It is thought that these microRNAs play an important role in the control of transcription factors.

RegExTest 1.0.0.3 is yet another extremely useful open source project for programmers. It can fully test your regular expressions against a target text. Regular Expression syntax is not so obvious, so a quick test environment is really helpful in all situations. RegExTest allows you to use and test grouping functions.

RegexSearch is a Java application that will perform graphical find-and-replace and find searches for regular expressions on multiple text files.

Main features:
- It can search for literal text or regular expressions.
- The search can be performed on a single file, on a directory (with optional recursion), on the files and directories listed in a text file, or on the files in which the target was found in a previous search. Files can be included in and excluded from the search by means of pathname filters, which allow bounded recursion.
- Occurrences of the target expression within each file are displayed in a scrollable window, with the matched text highlighted.
- Occurrences of the target expression can be replaced individually or globally. If the target is a regular expression, the replacement can include arbitrary parts of the matched text.
- Replacements can be previewed, then accepted or rejected.
- The parsing and matching of regular expressions is performed by the robust Java regular-expression engine. The syntax of Javas regular expressions is similar to that of Perl and Python.
- The results of a search (number of matches, number of replacements) are displayed for each file in which a match is found. The results can be copied to the system clipboard in a form that is suitable for use as a list file to limit the scope of a new search.
- Although a file cannot be edited in RegexSearchs text view, a command can be issued to open the file in an external editor.
