PubMed Tags is a small widget that will help you is youre looking for a way to optimize your PubMed searches.

Using the search field tags can help you do just that. But you re new to using the tags and can t remember the Journal Name tag. Just invoke Dashboard and all the most common tag definitions are waiting for you in this widget.

The program Hardware Monitor Remote is an add-on to the program Hardware Monitor for the Mac OS X operating system.

Hardware Monitor Remote allows you to use a hardware monitoring service on a remote Macintosh system. Other computers can contact this system via network (local area network, wireless network or the Internet) to receive readings from all available hardware sensors.

Hardware Monitor allows you to monitor the computer it is running on in the standard configuration. Hardware Monitor Remote extends its capabilities to monitor additional computers in the network as well. You can connect to an unlimited number of computer simultaneously and monitor them all from a single workstation. (In practice, the actual number may be limited by the speed of your network.) Of course you can also use several monitoring stations to receive data from an arbitrary number of other computers.

Limitations:

· In demo mode, the monitoring service is limited to 3 minutes.

Hardware Monitor Widget Edition is the Dashboard version of its "bigger brother" Hardware Monitor. You need a working registered copy of Hardware Monitor in order to fully use this widget. The applications are designed to give you access to all sensor readings Mac OS X uses to monitor and cool your computer.

The widget allows you to select two of your computers sensors which should be displayed via Dashboard.

The sensor readouts are displayed in a compact panel.

Unlike other widgets, Hardware Monitor is capable of processing the hardware calibration data Apple stores individually into each G5-based computer. So it displays the exact readings Mac OS X internally uses for cooling control, not just an educated guess.

Drag and Drop any GIF or JPEG image onto the image icon and instantly create an image tag for working with web pages. Preferences allow you to automatically copy to the clipboard and the width and height is always displayed on the Tags Panel.

Set preferences to add a path prefix to tags, include the border, and control the clipboard. Toggle the window and see the image proportionaltely shown in a preview.

Theres no easier way to build an image tag than using the Nickel Plated Image Tag utility. Drop any JPEG, GIF, or PICT onto the image icon or the image well in the extended window and instantly create your image tag.

As a convenience the Width and Height of the dropped image is always displayed on the palette for reference and the last image dropped is remembered.

The Image Well on the extended window gives you a proportionately drawn preview of the image so there is no mistaking your image.

Preferences let you choose to have a Border element added to the tag and you can precede the tag with any text... for instance, if you keep your images in a folder called "images" you can specify the prefix images/ and your tags will have the complete relative path in them

You can also choose to have the completed image tag automatically put into the clipboard.

You can also choose to have the tag appear in a separate window where you can copy it from there or just click the Tag Button to access the tag window.

Whats New in This Release:

· This version is updated for Tiger while remaining fully compatible with Panther.

This Automator action simply cross converts the ID3 tag information within an MP3 file from/to ID3v1 and ID3v2. It was developed due to the frustration brought on from burning MP3s onto a CD (for use in a car CD player that supports MP3) and finding that the player cannot show song information because the MP3s only contain ID3v2 tags.

GPL Components:
This software uses version 3.8.3 of a library called id3lib which is released under the GPL library license. A complete copy of the source along with the source to this Automator action is available via a separate download from the site.

Cleanup Tags and Filenames translates special characters in the tags and filenames of MP3 files in your iTunes library so that they will be recognized by the AudioTron when it indexes the files.

Make HTML Tags is an action for Automator. It creates HTML tags from URLs, so you can easily include links to files or embed tags in HTML documents.

It will render tags for media that can be embedded, tags for images and regular link tags for all other URLs.

How do I use it?
Just feed the action some URLs and the output will be some HTML code surrounding them. Simple, really.

It works exceptionally well in conjunction with my Upload to FTP action. When you place it behind this action in a workflow, it enables you to quickly post images or files on the internet.

Clipboard to XPress Tags is an OSAX which will convert styled text on the clipboard to XPress Tags.

It makes extracting styled text from FileMaker to QuarkXPress a breeze and comes with a sample FileMaker database already including the transfer script.

Completly freeware.

The RTF to Quark X-Tags script allows you to convert styled text to x-tagged ASCII text, which makes it possible to import text in QuarkXpress with stylesheets included. Save this script as an application or use the enclosed droplet.

This script converts styled text to TEXT-files with Quark Xpress Tags. The following styles and combinations are converted with this script: Italic; Bold; Bold Italic; Underline; AllCaps; Bold AllCaps; BoldItalic AllCaps; Italic Underline; Bold Italic; Underline; Strikethrough; Outline; Shadow; Superscript; Lowerscript. If necessary you can add your own combinations.

The following (Quark)Styles are not supported in Tex-Edit: Word underline, Small Caps, Superior. The script is tested with OS 10.3.5, Tex-Edit Plus 4.6.9 and Quark 6.1, but it might work with other versions as well.
