Workbench 1.2
Workbench - More or less omnipresent text editor pane more>> Workbench - More or less omnipresent text editor pane
Workbench is a Dashboard widget thatacts as a more or less omnipresent text editor pane.
Often I had the problem I had to copy some text (say out of an exception message or an URL) and just either take a short look at it or mutate it to further use (URLs most often). Changing longer URLs in the addressbar of browser is not that nice and in case of IE 7 its horrible.
So I created this dashboard as kind of workbench where I can quick and easy copy things into from different sources (every source that support copy & paste), redo it in place (changing parameter or target in an URL for example) and reuse it by coping the new text into another app.
Always having to open an editor or switching the tasks would be a solution, but I think this one nicer.
Main features:
- Multiple texts
You can even have multiple texts in one widget and you have next, previous, add and delete button to handle them
- Multiple modes:
You have different modes: small mode, big mode and bar mode. Big mode is the original one, small mode was made for those with a smaller screen or lots of other widgets on Dashboard and the bar mode is the ulitmate space saver. You switch between big and small via the "M"-Button and both look quite identically and behave identically.
Bar mode is slightly different. The bar-mode has no text-pane but still it has the buttons and the name of the actual text youre on. You swith from either of the two other modes via double clicking the black frame into the tab more. When you either double click on the frame or use the "M"-button in bar mode you get back to the mode you have been earlier. Also when you click on "+" to add a new text you automatically switch back to the previous mode.
Enhancements
- completly redone the GUI (the code, not the design)
- bugfix of the JS-part

MySQL Workbench OSS 5.1.18
MySQL Workbench OSS is a perfectly designed program which enables a DBA, developer, or data architect to visually design, generate, and manage all types of databases including Web, OLTP, and data warehouse databases. more>> <<less
MYSQL - Visual database design tool developedYAAOSC 0.4
YAAOSC - yet another AIM online-status checker more>>
There is one difference - You don`t need to run iChat and you don`t have to be logged in to AIM. IChat doesn`t even have to be installed.
That`s the main reason I started this widget since I don`t have iChat running most of the time and I don`t want it to be running all the time. Neither the Menubar-iChat-item. With this Widget, this is possible. You only need an internet connection (and Tiger, of course =D ).
If you`re not logged in, the widget only shows whether your buddy is online or offline. With iChat or Adium running, the widget gets the status and (optionally) the status-message from iChat/Adium and sets an appropriate color.
You can set the refresh-interval yourself. Clicking the Widget re-checks the buddy`s status if he was offline before or opens iChat/Adium if he was online at the last check. First I had iChat/Adium open a new Message Window, but since I sometimes want to do an Audio-Chat, this was annoying, so I stay with only opening/activating the appropriate Chat-Application and hiding the Dashboard.
Enhancements:
- Added Google Talk support (actually a Jabber-Protocol)
- Improved Jabber support when no Chat-Application (iChat or Adium) is running
- Various small redesigns (more decent state-changes)
- If a buddy is NOT in the buddylist of your Chat-Application, but said application is running, the widget always returned "offline". This is fixed.
- Cleaned up the preferences
- Various bugfixes (thanks to the folks reporting those!).
JavaFrameworkMaker 0.4

dSymbolizer 1.0.4
dSymbolizer - decode backtrace symbols using DWARF/dSYM more>>
Introduction
Do you want to be able to ship stripped executables but still receive usable backtraces?
Then dSymbolizer is for you.
Background
Recent releases of Xcode supports a new debug symbol format called DWARF.
One especially useful feature, is the ability to generate a symbol file that is separated from the application proper.
This allows you to ship a stripped version of your application but still being able to decode the backtrace by using that symbol file (it is called a dSYM file).
The problem is that the current toolsets doesnt make it very easy to do this (essentially, only gdb supports DWARF/dSYM at this point).
dSymbolizer makes it easy.
