Free syncing software for mac

For some reason, Apple has changed the way the iSync menu bar item works in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.

From Apple Support:

"To sync with any phone thats been configured in iSync, the iSync application must be open to sync to it via Sync Now from the Sync Status menu. In other words, if you set up a mobile phone in iSync, you will not be able to sync information with it from the Sync Status menu if iSync is not open."

This is different to 10.3 and earlier and in my opinion is a step-back in user-friendliness.

Sync Now can be added to your dock or your favourite menu bar application launcher to bring back the old 1-click sync functionality without having to manually open iSync and click again.

When run Sync Now will open iSync, start the syncing process then quit iSync and itself when finished.

MySync provides the Mac-to-Mac syncing capabilities of .mac, without .mac.
MySync (currently) only supports syncing over a local network.
Version restrictions:
- You can only enable syncing for one datatype at a time in the unregistered version.
Enhancements:
- Fixes a bug where MySync would try to register itself to run at Login a little too eagerly, and also fixes a byte-ordering issue that caused the port number to be read incorrectly on intel systems.

Address Sync Plus is a replacement for the address syncing plugin bundled with NewtSync. It is based on the source code for the bundled plugin, but adds some features we think people will find useful. In addition to the information synced by the original plugin,
