Swap Cop 1.1.2
Swap Cop - Move OSX swap files to different volumes. more>>
When I first bought my Powerbook (with 6 GB hard drive), I had a great idea. Partition the hard-drive into three sections, one each for MacOS 9, LinuxPPC, and (for the future) OS X (with a few extra utility partitions for Linux swap space, etc.). But then OS X came along, and so did an MP3 collection.
I removed Linux, since I could SSH, emacs, and perl perfectly fine in OS X, and the old Linux directory became an MP3 disk. But OS X is huge, and I felt a little cramped in the 1.7 GB partition, and backing up all the data I had would be too difficult, so repartitioning was out of the question.
But even that was not enough. I saw that there was a swap disk that was taking up a minimum of 80 MB, and more likely 160 MB or more (increasing in size as you use OS X). So why not move it to my MP3 partition (where space wasnt as much an issue), and reclaim the space on my main disk. Thus Swap Cop was born.
Why would you want to do this? Perhaps you are in the same position with an ill-arranged partitioning scheme like I was.
Or maybe you have a small disk that you would like to dedicate to swapping, to increase your OS performance. I originally made the change by hand, but realized that it wouldnt be too hard to have a user friendly software that would take care of it.

Swap Artist and Song Name 1.0
Swap Artist and Song Name - Swap artist and song name more>>
So Im going through my library, and notice quite a few albums which have the Artist and Song Name reversed.
So I wrote this little script to, well, fix that. I dont know how prevalent this problem is (I have quite a few CDs ripped ages ago when CDDB was even less organized) but thought others might find it of value.
Swap Artist and Song Name is a small AppleScript that swaps the artist and song name for selected tracks.

EntourageX Swap Home and Work 1.0
EntourageX Swap Home and Work - Swaps Home and Work address for contacts in Entourage X more>>
EntourageX Swap Home and Work is an AppleScript that swaps Home and Work addresses in the Entourage address book.
You have the choice of swapping addresses of only currently selected contacts, or of all contacts. In either case, the script will ask for confirmation before it executes.
There used to be a Microsoft script that did this for Ev2001. The installer refuses to work with EvX, so I wrote this. Hope its useful.

MacGiftWrap 1.0
MacGiftWrap - swaps out the standard Mac OS X folder icons with gift wrapped folders more>>
MacGiftWrap is an application created in response to the challenge thrown down at A Holiday Cocoa Duel at ten paces.
This contest features some of the most talented indie Mac developers around and I really have no business being involved. Still, I had an idea for a really basic app that wrapped the Macs folder icons in some festive ribbons and bows for the holidays and so, well, I decided what the heck, its for charity.
MacGiftWrap is a very basic app that swaps out the standard Mac OS X folder icons with gift wrapped folders. As this app modifies system resources, all the standard warnings apply: use at your own risk, make a backup first, yadda, yadda, yadda.

What can be displayed?
Computer Name, OS Version, User name, ID, Group membership, Classic running or not.
Network interface, Location, IP Address, Netmask, Default Gateway, DNS Server, Domain, Broadcast Address, MAC Address.
