Number String 1.5 is a helpful software with 6 cards being dealt face up that challenges players to combine some or all all of the first 5 cards to equal the value of the sixth card. Players may use any combination of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Up to 2 pairs of parenthesis may be added if desired. Besides acquiring points, each time an equivalency is completed a "hidden" background picture is displayed.

Requirements:

• Macintosh Universal (Intel / PPC) requires OSX 10.2 or greater. Classic version (a FAT build for both PPC and 68k machines) works with systems 7.6 - 9.2 and requires at least 6 MB of free application memory. 640 x 480 or greater screen resolution.

The Picture String Extensions module extends the Picture and String classes with methods to add converting a picture to or from a string.

Wincent Strings Utility is a command line application designed to be called from within Xcode shell script build phases. In its first mode of operation it merges changes from the localizable strings files in the development language into existing localized variants.
In its second mode of operation it can be used to preprocessed localized InfoPlist.strings files by scanning them for Info.plist keys and performing substitutions of values such as copyright year and version number.

This class is in early development stages. While it does come with plenty of examples for you to step through to see how it does what it does, it is by no means complete or ready for integration into a larger project. It is stable and should not crash.

numToStr is a robust number-to-string handler. Some numbers are presented by AppleScript in "scientific format" or with precision errors in the twelfth decimal place. This handler returns string forms that are in long, decimal notation and correct.
