Free sticky windows software for mac

Sure, Apple’s Stickies widget is great, but it’s such a hassle to open a new note. Make way for Sticky Spawn. He’s small but more than capable of doing the job. Just drag Sticky Spawn onto your Dashboard and whenever you need to open a new sticky note, click on the tiny Sticky Spawn widget to open a blank sticky (from Apple’s Stickies widget). He doesn’t take up very much space, and it sure beats having to open up the Dashboard dock and fumble through pages of widgets when you need to jot something down.

Stick it works more like a little notebook. This paradigm makes more sense for those who want to make quick notes and keep them together, but have limited screen real estate while working with other tools.
Stick it is excellent for those who work with web-based applications, which are prone to crashing or behaving unexpectedly. Its great to have a simple, robust little tool to hold your notes rather than relying on that web app to behave properly all the time.
Stick it saves you the frustration of having to re-type everything you just took down and entered into a text field in the web application, when the web application crashes the browser, or times out, or surprises you in some other way.
Main features:
- Keyboard shortcuts for frequent commands.
- Changeable default color and current note color.
- A convenient button to "copy all" text in the current note.
- Notes can be "locked" to prevent accidental editing or deletion.
- Text of "locked" notes is fully selectable and copyable.

Who needs purple? Red is the new purple!

The original Stickies widget has a great color set except for one glaring omission: red!

Because the purple ends up looking nearly identical to the pink, I decided to replace it with red.

Once installed in the user’s Library/Widgets directory, (automatically, if you’re using Safari) it overrides the default Stickies widget that is packaged with OS X Tiger in the Dashboard (but does not remove it from the system).

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Reposition Windows (Entourage) is a small Entourage AppleScript which automatically moves the Main and/or Progress windows of Entourage to their default positions.

This is usefull because the Entourage windows sometimes get shifted around which is pretty annoying.
