Stick it works more like a little notebook. This paradigm makes more sense for those who want to make quick notes and keep them together, but have limited screen real estate while working with other tools.
Stick it is excellent for those who work with web-based applications, which are prone to crashing or behaving unexpectedly. Its great to have a simple, robust little tool to hold your notes rather than relying on that web app to behave properly all the time.
Stick it saves you the frustration of having to re-type everything you just took down and entered into a text field in the web application, when the web application crashes the browser, or times out, or surprises you in some other way.

iPod Notes is a freeware application for Mac OS X made to manage the notes of your iPod.
iPod Notes lets you create and organize any note you want to have in your iPod. You can paste text in, drag text from other applications, drop it as a text file from the Finder or, of course, write it yourself with the keyboard of your Mac.

Who needs purple? Red is the new purple!

The original Stickies widget has a great color set except for one glaring omission: red!

Because the purple ends up looking nearly identical to the pink, I decided to replace it with red.

Once installed in the user’s Library/Widgets directory, (automatically, if you’re using Safari) it overrides the default Stickies widget that is packaged with OS X Tiger in the Dashboard (but does not remove it from the system).

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Insert Notes is an AppleScript used to insert "boiler plate" text into mail & news messages.
First, store chunks of commonly used text in an Entourage Note. Create a category called Stationery (without the quotes), and assign this category to all the notes containing boiler plate text (they can have other categories as well).
Run the script and you are presented with a list of these note(s) which can be selected for insertion into your message.

StYNCies--a neat little utility from Russotle that synchronizes your Stickies to your iPod and/or iDisk.
StYNCies is an OS X (10.2+) application designed to stay out of your way but be there when you need it. It syncs your Stickies with your iPod when you connect it to your Mac and syncs them to your iPod and/or iDisk on demand. Specify the iDisk location to upload Stickies as nicely formatted HTML through the Preferences panel; your stickies get written to a "StYNCies" subdirectory of that location. For example, if you specify "/Volumes//Documents", the your notes get written to "/Volumes//Documents/StYNCies". An index, index.html, is also written for convenient navigation of the notes.
StYNCies works on all generations of iPods. On 1G & 2G iPods, it syncs the notes to your Contacts folder and prefixes each note with "!" for grouping purposes. On 3G and newer iPods, it syncs notes to the "StYNCies" subdirectory of the Notes folder.
Features to sync them with WebDAV shares and possibly other remote locations are slated for the v1.0 release among other neat things. A feature to enable modifying and synchronizing changes from the web is also being considered. Please share your thoughts and suggest any feature requests you can think of. You might just get what you ask for!
