This theoretically should work for DVDs as well, but I havent tested it in this use (Youll probably want to edit the action and change the "CD" to "DVD" in the naming field).
Good for quickie burns. The resulting CDs appear to be readable on PCs as well, with none of the extra stuff like .DS_Store and resource forks. Use in "Finder Plugin" mode install by double-clicking the included applescript.

Because of a bug with Mac OS X 10.3 in the Speed Test, currently no Speed Test is performed before burning is started. So burning may fail if the source folder cant deliver data fast enought. (e.g. with a folder from a network volume with a bad or low performance connection.)

The CDs had become scratched beyond enjoyable listening, the computer still recognized them, but I had long since deleted the playlist that would have allowed for this to be easily burned again.
Source included, as well as run only script that needs to be put in the iTunes scripts folder (included readme explains more about install, as well as more about the script).
