Stationery, when executed from the contextual script menu provided by Big Cat, converts selected files to stationery pads (folders are ignored).

Extension to mimic Outlook Express Stationery...
Stationery for Thunderbird allows you to use HTML files as templates for mail. Also allow custom template in replies or forwarded mail! Simply use drop-down menu from buttons "Write", "Reply*" and "Forward", and select "Other Stationery..." option.

Back in early 97, my friend Vijay Iyer suggested that we could make everyones life a whole lot easier if we figured out how to port cgi applications from Linux to the Mac with minimal difficulty. Vijay suggested that we demo at the upcoming CS Fair at school. We procrastinated as long as possible and in the last days before the deadline the initial version emerged in all its orginal glory.

The CGI Assimilator is a code library which brings support for ANSI CGI scripts to the Mac. This library allows one to write a CGI script in standard C/C++ and compile it on the Mac for use with several different web servers, including the following:

• WebSTAR
• Web Server 4D
• Quid Pro Quo
• NetPresenz

The key is that the programmer does not need to know any Macintosh specifics to create a working script- the library handles all of the background tasks automatically.

CGI Assimilator is a library and as such, it requires a compiler to be of any use. What makes it particularly obnoxious is its low level integration with the Metrowerks Standard Library (MSL). This basically means the the code may need minor, but esoteric changes. The latest version of the code was updated for CodeWarrior Pro 6.
Since the library is currently totally dependent on using CodeWarrior, the precompiled versions have project stationery for CGI applications.

Insert Notes is an AppleScript used to insert "boiler plate" text into mail & news messages.
First, store chunks of commonly used text in an Entourage Note. Create a category called Stationery (without the quotes), and assign this category to all the notes containing boiler plate text (they can have other categories as well).
Run the script and you are presented with a list of these note(s) which can be selected for insertion into your message.

Text Capture FKEY applies various patches to other applications or to desk accessories. This approach gives more control over conflicts and memory bloat than extending application behavior by adding extensions to the system.

The patching process adds certain resources to the application. No existing resources are modified, so it is easy to remove the patches if desired. It is not compatible with PopupFuncs, since they use the same mechanism to get run-time from the system.

WARNING! Text Editor Patches should not be applied to a Carbon application. When running under Mac OS 8 or 9, it makes the application crash on Quit. And when running on Mac OS X, the patches simply dont work.

Patches include:
• Make it possible to paste a picture into a SimpleText document.
• Add a windows menu to any application, even the Finder.
• Add a menu of often-used documents, such as stationery files.
• Add a simple form of word-wrapping to a text editor.
• Make the page-up and page-down keys work everywhere.
• Define keystrokes for various TeX macros (contributed by Juan L. Varona).
