SpotDJ is a service that adds a something new and awesome to your music listening experience. You listen to your music just like normal, but every once in a while, SpotDJ will play a "spot" between songs.

SpotDJ is simply just a snippet of audio about the song you were listening to. It could be basic information about the song, a story about the artist, an interpretation of the song, news, gossip, recommendations, whatever!

SpotDJ is also a person - and by using SpotDJ you become a SpotDJ. All of the spots on SpotDJ are created by our users.

So if youre listening to a song and have something to say about it, just flip to SpotDJ, click the "Spot this Song!" button and record your spot. Other SpotDJs listening to that song will hear your comments at the end of the song.

SpotDJ uses the EyeTunes framework to communicate with iTunes.

Hot Spot X is a modern remake of an old Mac OS Classic game called Hot Spot.
Hot Spot X is a program that consists of four concentric rings around a center spot (check out the screenshots).
You also have 32 game tiles consisting of two tiles each of every combination of four colors and four symbols (2 x 4 x 4 = 32).
The object of the game is to place a tile in that center spot by working your way in from the outer rings by followingc certain rules:
- Tiles cannot match their neighbors in symbol or color.
- Tiles in the inner rings must match one of the parent tiles they are connected to by color and the other by symbol.
Enhancements:
- Fixed: Bonus points for a perfect game not awarded when applicable.
- Keyboard shortcuts now usable when presented with a dialog sheet to start a new game, end the current game, or continue with the current game (which appears when youve run out of moves). Basically, instead of say, pressing the button to start a new game, you can use command-N and so on.

What does Music Status Blackspot do? It patches Tigers iChat to not show those little iTMS links in the status line of a person utilizing the new iTunes status feature.

For some reason, Apple made it so you cant turn those off. Why? I dont know. Well, now you can turn them off. And no, it doesnt leave a big black spot where they used to be. It makes them disappear.

Mac OS X has a nifty shortcut - Ctrl+Eject - for shutting down your computer. On older Apple keyboards, these keys are on opposite diagonal corners of the keyboard, and at the end of the day you may simply hit the two corners of the keyboard then Return to switch off your computer.
However, with the new Apple Aluminium Keyboard, the eject key in in the middle of the top row of keys - hardly as convenient! Instead, F19 takes the top right spot.
ProShutdown is a free program that restores the opposite corners shortcut by listening for Ctrl+F19, and displaying a shut down dialog when these are pressed. It displays a small F19 icon in the menu bar to remind you that this shortcut is available. Want it gone? You can press Ctrl+F18 to in order to hide (or bring back) the icon.

GrandPerspective 1.1.0 is specifically designed for Mac OS X to graphically show the disk usage within a file system. It can help you to manage your disk, as you can easily spot which files and folders take up the most space.

LaunchStrip is a less-obtrusive replace for the Launcher control panel included with MacOS.

Put it in the Control Strip Modules folder in your system folder, and youll have a menu of everything in the Launcher Items folder in a handy, out-of-the-way spot.

Switzerland is a tool for testing networks, ISPs and firewalls developed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (www.eff.org).
Switzerland will spot IP packets which are forged or modified between clients, inform you, and give you copies of the modified packets.

Enhancements
Lots of bugfixes and some new features:
- Make the messages that Switzerland gives users less cryptic and more informative! Especially
- Improve on the notification of modified/forged packets in versions 0.0.x. In the case of modifications, provide specific reports of which packet fields have been modified, from what and to what. In the case of injections/forgeries, provide tcpdump-style representations of the packets.
- Include a new command line tool, study-switzerland-pcaps, to perform the above analysis based on the -in and -out pcap modification/forgery logs produced by Switzerland. This will be useful both for old logfiles from 0.0.7 and for newly created logs.
- Reduce the incidence and duration of the "you cant connect, because we already have a connection from your IP" problem.
- Fix several internal bugs in the server, which 0.0.7 "handled" by catching exceptions and trying to ignore them.
- When modified/forged packets are observed, dont tell other parties what your NIC and routers MAC addresses are
Internal improvements and adjustments:
Refactor things out of Switzerland.py:
- Matchmaking is now separated and easier to understand
- Forgery context operations are now part of SwitzerlandLink.py
- There are some minor but incompatible changes to the wire protocol, in which reports on forgeries are passed around with the fo-context and forged-details messages.
