Free speaker boxes software for mac

The Virtual Speaker KEXT (kernel extension) for MacOS 10.2 fixes problems with the handling of sound on the Apple G4 Cube when the external USB speakers are not connected (since the Cube does not have a built in sound device). The extension runs under MacOS 10.2.x, and will create a virtual output audio engine which is selected by default in the sound control panel when no other audio device is detected. This extension will run on any model of hardware, and may prove useful for any model without a built in sound device.
This kernel extension should fix a number of issues caused by the lack of a sound output device which have been noted in iMovie, DVD Studio Pro, and other applications (including video capture errors, crashes when previewing DVD projects, automatic quit when launching some applications which require an audio output device, and other random misfortunes).
Enhancements:
- Corrected issue with VirtualSpeaker that was preventing the fix from working for games (and applications) using the Carbon SoundManager (the fIsMixable bit was set incorrectly for the 16 bit virtual audio format).
- Fixed a permissions issue caused by a setting in the install package that was ignored by the Installer program.

A clever little screen saver that tosses randomly sized balls and boxes around and lets them do their thing. Great physics, and runs well on almost anything that can handle Mac OS X.

Note Box is a free Yahoo! widget that features a very simple resizable place for leaving little notes.
Drag the lower right corner to resize. Notes are automatically saved.

Feeds in a Box 1.0 as its name suggests allows you to view updates from any of your friends' Twitter account or from your own defined RSS. You can enter some search terms for Yahoo! News, Google News or Twitter Search or just submit the Feed you like. Notifications will be sent to your email automatically.

The Page Background AppleScript will create a background picture box for the current QuarkXPress page after prompting the user for color and shade to use in it.

Convert Empty Picture Boxes is a Quark AppleScript that will convert all empty picture boxes into graphic boxes (content = none). Fill Colors/Gradients are not affected.

This is useful to tidy up your documents.

The Fit Image in Box scripts purpose is to resize an image to fit within a picture box, then resize the picture box to fit the image.

It is better than the command+option+shift+F shortcut in Quark XPress because, unlike the shortcut, the script leaves no blank space in the picture box.
