Sound Shuffler 2.1 is considered as a distinguished and tractable control panel that randomizes the Mac system alert beep. It also plays sounds in a 'Sounds' folder located in the System Folder. Just drop sounds in this folder and Sound Shuffler immediately takes advantage of them. Sound Shuffler plays all sounds asynchronously, which means they will play without hogging the processor.

This allows you to continue to work while your sound is playing. Any sound can be stopped by pressing the 'Esc' key. Sound Shuffler even lets you play sounds at random times, using the random sound slider in the control panel. You can set the length of the delay that Sounds Shuffler awaits.

- Album Shaper has changed radically since the last version. Importing photos is several times faster. So is rotating and flipping photos, and its now lossless (meaning image quality never degrades) too! Internationalization support has improved leaps and bounds, impart thanks to the new help system that comes with this release. But most importantly, the photo editing side of Album Shaper has been completely rewritten. You can now quickly crop photos to standard dimensions (e.g. 5x7), drag out selections and move them around, scale selections in place, rotate selections, even drag selection edges and corners independently, before cropping. A new tilt-correction tool has been added that is remarkably easy and accurate to use. You can touch up photos with several advanced enhancing tools (color, contrast, and very sophisticated red-eye removal), in addition to using advanced levels and grain editors. For kicks Ive even thrown in a few manipulations (black + white, sepia coloring, inversion, color embossing, and an oil painting effect).

Sound Pan is a REALbasic example that demonstrates how to use the pan property of a sound to track an object in the left and right audio channels.

Sound Menu is a small menu for fast sound input/output switching.

Sound Menu is designed as an Apple Menu. Drag it in your ~/Library/Bundles and just double click on it to activate the menu. To desactivate drag it out of the menu bar with Option-click.
