Sonnet Metronome 3.0 is a feature-rich and trustworthy program which reports processor type, processor speed, bus speed, Level 1 cache size, L2 cache size/speed, and L3 cache size/speed (displayed only when L3 cache is present on processor upgrade card).

Sonnet Processor is a unified installer that installs files necessary to support various Sonnet processor upgrades in the listed applicable computers. This software is not necessary for Encore/ZIF G3 nor Crescendo/7200 upgrades.
Sonnet Processor installer will also install (or updates) the Startup Disk X control panel, and will move the original Startup Disk Control Panel to the Control Panels (Disabled) folder. This control panel enables universal switching between Mac OS 9.x and Mac OS X System Folders on systems where Mac OS X has already been installed.
Note: If you have altered the extension name (ie: added spaces to the file name) of a previously installed version of Crescendo, Sonnet Processor Upgrade, or Encore, this installer will not automatically remove the previous version. You must manually remove it from your Extensions Folder.

Enhancements:
Version 1.2 resolves issues that prevented the software from updating the Tango cards serial ROM under some circumstances. This software also enables the Tango to be used in Macintosh 5500, 6500 and Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh computers. The Apple ROM in these machines was not designed to support multifunction add-in cards, but Sonnet successfully identified and solved this problem; this software addresses these limitations enables these systems to fully support the Tango.

Sonnet Firmware Updater installs the Sonnet Firmware Updater and Sonnet Firmware Remover applications to your computers Mac OS X Applications folder.
Sonnet Firmware Updater will install the firmware patch that is necessary to support Encore/ZIF (700 MHz and faster) and various Encore/ST processor upgrades in the listed compatible computers.
Sonnet Firmware Updater will read the onboard ROM of a New World PowerPC based PowerMac G3 or G4, patch it, and reprogram the ROM. A companion application called Sonnet Firmware Remover will remove the patch.
