Country Song Generator is a cute program that I designed the UI for. The original country.c was a simple ANSI C command-line app which the original author is unknown.
Country Song Generator will randomly generate lyrics to a country song.
Enhancements:
- Version 1.0.1 fixed a bug where the song would be cut-off near the bottom.

Now Playing AIM is a small AppleScript which enables AIM to Display current playing iTunes song on the away message.

Completly freeware.

KSBR Now Playing displays current song and previous four songs playing on KSBR which can be accessed in the iTunes radio section under Jazz.
Users can play KSBR from inside the updated widget.
Enhancements:

LongPlayer is a program that automatically fills your Winamp, XMMS or iTunes playlist. It will basically replace the randomization feature of those media players.
Those of you who have converted all of your CDs into mp3s (or wma/ogg/..) and try to shuffle songs in your big, static all-containing playlist will surely know the "hey, I already heard this song an hour ago!" problem.
That random function just doesnt seem random enough! The main reason for this is the birthday-problem: the chances that you hear a particular song twice in, say the same day, are quite small, but the odds of ANY song playing twice in that timespan, are real, very real. Your typical media player just selects a random song from a statically generated list without saving where it last left off.
LongPlayers smart queuing checks how long it has been since you heard a song, how good you think a song is and what genre you think it belongs in.
Main features:
- works with WinAmp, XMMS and iTunes
- dynamic playlists: make random, always-up-to-date playlists in a matter of seconds: just include the directories you want to hear; theres no need to add newly downloaded music.
- rate your songs and assign a genre from a continuous spectrum
- smart queuing: always hear the music you want to hear, based on:
- the last time you heard it
- the rating and genre
- advanced searching capabilities
- lots of other stuff, e.g. automatic trimming of playlists, remote control, DJ function, XML database, mIRC integration, etc.
Enhancements:
- fixed crashes when there are no playlists

This set of scripts was written to help rate songs on headless Macs running iTunes. It basically comes down to providing an easy way to rate songs with just a keyboard. It provides verbal feedback for the user as well, so you know if it worked.
NOTE: iTunes must be the front running application in order for these apps to work. There are lots of switchers that can make this happen (there are also some workarounds I can share as well, but they are harder to configure, so not documented here).
Enhancements:
- The "?" option now announces the current rating of the song.
- The "?" option only changes the rating of a song if it is changed from the current rating.
