Sudoku Susser for Macintosh 2.0.3 is an impressive and pleasant Sudoku assistant and master-level solver. Hints mode which shows you what numbers are legal for the remaining squares.
The Deducer uses human-style reasoning to solve the puzzles and can take you step-by-step through their solution with detailed explanations of each step. The brute-force Recurse option solves all puzzles. And tons of hilighting modes help you see the patterns in the puzzles. You can even drag puzzles right off the Web pages of major UK newspapers into the application, then edit, save and print them for offline fun. Puzzle list now stores the complete state of the puzzle, not just the initial squares. If you partially solve a puzzle and add it to the puzzles list, when you reload it, it will be perfectly restored (all non-initial solved squares with black digits, all partially reduced squares partially reduced).

Solver for Excel 2008 1.0
Solver for Excel was built was built by Frontline Systems on both Macintosh and Windows. more>>
Solver for Excel 2008 1.0 was built by Frontline Systems on both Macintosh and Windows. For many years, it has Solver upgrades for Windows users, that have gotten more and more powerful over time -- but it hasn't been active on the Mac. It is now applying more development resources to the Macintosh, motivated by the Mac's resurgence in the market and the move to Intel processors. But the catalyst for this move has been Microsoft's Mac Excel team.
If you open a workbook with a Solver model that you created in Excel 2004, or in most other versions of Excel, the model should appear automatically in this dialog -- you can just click Solve.
