Slife 2.3 is designed to be a handy and innovative time management and activity browsing tool which keeps track of where you spend your time in your computer. It automatically observes which applications you use and when you use them.
Major Features:
- Time Spent On Applications: You can visit your Slife Web account at anytime to visualize your computer activities. One of the views lets you see how much time you've spent per application.
- Time Spent on Web Pages and Documents: The Web & Documents view allows you to see how much time you've spent on individual documents and web pages. You can visualize stats by day, week, month or year.
- Time Spent on Activities: With Slife Web, you can create categories for your activities, such as "Reading news" or "Doing research", and designate applications and documents as part of these categories.
- More Details With Notes: In addition to observing your activities automatically, the client allows you to post notes to your Slife Web account. Notes are great as a way to give your activities more context.
- Meetings & Phone Calls: What about all those other non-computer-based activities? The client lets you log meeting time and phone calls, so you know how much time you've spent away from the computer.
- Manage Your Productivity: You can specify goals for activities, such as "spend less than 15 minutes reading news daily". Slife Web does the math and lets you know whether you are reaching your objectives.
- Third-Party Services: Time tracking typically goes hand in hand with invoicing and project management. With Slife Web, you can easily export the time you spend on projects and activities to third-party web services
iMote 2.3
Simple, elegant and lightweight program for controlling iTunes from just about any app. more>>
iMote 2.3 is designed as a simple, elegant and lightweight program which is used to control iTunes from just about any application.
Play/pause, change tracks, select playlists, adjust volume, rate tracks and more using fully customizable hot-keys or a universal menu bar item. iMote includes a beautiful iPod-esque floating window, indicating current track information, and Growl support if you want an even more stream-lined experience with your other Growl-enabled applications. Written using Cocoa, iMote is lean and mean, consuming minimal system memory and CPU time. iMote is also the original iTunes controller.
Major Features:
- The Menu
- iMote's menu gives you quick access the the everyday iTunes features you use, right from the menu bar. You can rate tracks, change shuffle and repeat setting, change the current playlist and more with just one click.
- Hot Keys
- The coolest thing about iMote is its hot keys. Say you're typing a letter to a friend in Safari or Mail, and you want to skip iTunes to the next track -- don't touch the mouse! Just hit a key combo and the track changes!
- The Floater
- The Floater is a great thing iMote provides for your musical enjoyment -- it's a floating window that shows you the current track's name, artist, album, rating, and album artwork.
- Tricks
- The Floater can hide out anywhere on the screen you like. By default it ignores mouse clicks so as not to get in the way when it rears its head -- but you can set it to respond to clicks and drag it around the screen to just where you like. It's even smart about how is resizes itself on the edges of the screen so as not to clip itself off the screen. If you decide you like its default position best, just double-click it to put it back at center stage.
- A song comes on that you like, and the Floater pops up? Rate it just by clicking the starts on the floater.
- If you use Growl, enable Growl notifications in iMote to keep all your cute little windows consistent.
- Writing down recorded audio content? Use iMote's StepBack feature to pause, and "step back" a few seconds and resume, to review audio piece-by-piece. It's great for journalists or anyone doing recorded interviews!
- Don't like clutter in your Mac's interface? (Hey, neither do we!) Set the menu is hide itself when iTunes isn't open.
Requirements:
- Mac OS 10.3.9 or later and iTunes.
