Wes began making boards for his friends in the mid seventies in a garage behind his parents home in Santa Monica, California. He and long time friend Kevin Kaiser made belly boards, drew, painted & airbrushed surfboards and skateboards.
The list of customers would later read like a whos who in future issues of SkateBoarder Magazine in years to come; Jim Muir (with whom Wes would later found Dogtown Skates), Arthur Lake, Ray Flores, Tony Alva, John Palfreyman, Tom Lund, Paul Constantineau, Jay Adams, Paul Cullen, and Shogo Kubo to name a few.

What is a thumbnail? Its a smaller version of a picture that you can put on a webpage, and then you can link to a larger version of the picture (or some other page).
ThumbBorker started life as a custom program for a major skateboard manufacturer. They needed to chew through large volumes of photographs taken at skateboard competitions to create web page thumbnails.
The thumbnails show the Exciting Part of the photo, and are a link to the larger, complete picture. They have kindly granted us permission to release the program for free.
