FileMaker Pro Shortcuts 2.0 is an advanced program which satisfies you with a newly redesigned and streamlined database for FileMaker Pro 5.0

Have you ever wished that you could switch accounts or signatures in a new message you’re writing without having to fetch the mouse as you’re typing? Signatures in particular require a tedious search in a submenu of the Message menu.

With Account & Signature Shortcuts (Entourage) you can use any keyboard shortcut you like (if not already taken by another Entourage command or script).

Any script can have a keyboard shortcut, so the installer scripts in this folder make separate scripts for each Account or Signature for which you would like a shortcut.

They guide you through the procedure of selecting a shortcut, and check to make sure that it’s not already taken in Entourage, either by a standard Entourage shortcut or by one of your own scripts (including those in subfolders).

The installers make the script for you, and put it in the right place. You don’t even have to bother with learning Entourage’s code for naming scripts with key shortcuts. The setup procedure carefully helps you do that, rejecting any invalid or unavailable ones. All you have to do is press the keys.

WinShortcutter 3.0 is a versatile tool that helps users to follow Windows Shortcuts and open the corresponding document will open. If you want to create an alias in addition to following the shortcut, simply activate the option in the system preferences. If your office network also allows AFP mounts, you can change the mount setting as well. Simply access the System Preferences for WinShortcutter.

When running OS X, the shortcut Command-Option-D will toggle the Docks Hiding status. Unfortunately for people running QuarkXPress in the Classic environment, this means that the Step and Repeat... shortcut no longer works!

The problem can be solved by running QXP Shortcut Changer which will allow you to re-assign the key which is used by XPress for the Step and Repeat... menu item.

Beginning with Mac OS X v.10.2 (Jaguar), Apple has reserved the keyboard shortcut Command+~ (Tilde) to cycle through an applications open document windows. This change conflicts with the behavior of the shortcut in Adobe Photoshop 7.x (selecting the image composite in the Channels palette or selecting the master channel in the Levels and Curves dialog boxes).

To restore the behavior of Command+~ in Photoshop 7.x running in Mac OS X v.10.2, place this plug-in in the Adobe Photoshop Only:Extensions folder within the Adobe Photoshop 7 Plug-Ins folder.

Install HotService, a Cocoa input manager bundle, and all shortcuts of services are available right after launching Cocoa applications.
Currently (up to Mac OS X 10.3.9) you have to pull down the application menu at least once before its possible to use shortcuts of services.
In addition, HotService moves the services menu up to the main menu bar (behind the windows menu) to make it easier to reach the services.

Mac OS X has a nifty shortcut - Ctrl+Eject - for shutting down your computer. On older Apple keyboards, these keys are on opposite diagonal corners of the keyboard, and at the end of the day you may simply hit the two corners of the keyboard then Return to switch off your computer.
However, with the new Apple Aluminium Keyboard, the eject key in in the middle of the top row of keys - hardly as convenient! Instead, F19 takes the top right spot.
ProShutdown is a free program that restores the opposite corners shortcut by listening for Ctrl+F19, and displaying a shut down dialog when these are pressed. It displays a small F19 icon in the menu bar to remind you that this shortcut is available. Want it gone? You can press Ctrl+F18 to in order to hide (or bring back) the icon.
