Scripts for Big Cat is a collection of 3 scripts for “Big Cat” a system for running scripts from contextual menus.

Stuff 1.0 — works on Files.
This script improves on the “Stuff” script included with Big Cat. If multiple files and/or folders are selected, they will all be stuffed into one archive (instead of multiple separate archives). In addition, if DropStuff was not running before this script is run, the script will quit DropStuff after the archive is created (if DropStuff was running already, it will not be quit).

Zip 1.0 — works on Files.
The same as Stuff, above, but instead uses DropZip to create Unix- & PC-compatible zip files.

Word Count 1.0 — works on Text.
Puts up a dialogue box showing the number of characters and the number of words in a text selection.

Along with various example scripts for AOL Instant Messenger (Away message, Send Chat text, Send IM, Set Profile, Sign off and on and Auto response), the AIM Scripts archive contains several of the authors finished scripts, such as Noodlez AIM Bot and AIM MP3 Announcer Chat.

LSB Scripts is a set of Applescript scripts designed to automate Finder tasks without any programming. It can deal with operations on files and folders like moving, copying and creating aliases.

It can pack files and folders in folders named and numbered/dated automatically. It was mainly aimed at backup and management tasks, but its open architecture allows to use it in many cases.

The scripts are completly freeware for personal use.

XPress Scripts is a collection of thirty AppleScripts for QuarkXPress.
XPress Scripts contains many new scripts and updates some of the scripts from the previous version.

XPress Scripts now uses the Dialog Director osax instead of the old Dialog Runner osax which is no longer compatible today.

Drop Script lets you create new applications from any BSD program which takes files as command line arguments. Typically, these are scripts written in sh, perl, etc.

These are simple scripts for Virex 7 (which MUST be installed before you run either of these scripts). They help setup periodic processes to scan your the file system and update the virus definitions.

Periodic commands will not occur when the Mac is asleep. Make sure you leave your computer on at night if you want the maintenance scripts to run. These scripts are donationware.
