AquaScribus is an application launcher, written in AppleScript, for the Linux-based desktop publishing program Scribus.
Scribus is a rapdily-developing, professional-level page layout application that includes support for CMYK color separations, advanced PDF export, and other industry-standard features.
Scribus runs on Mac OS X under Fink in Apples X11 environment. While the program can be launched from within the X11 application, AquaScribus allows you to launch Scribus by clicking on an icon in the Dock, and also by double-clicking on a Scribus (.sla) file. This allows better integration between Scribus and the Aqua environment.
