iTunes CD Barcode is a small application that allows you to scan the barcode of a CD and have iTunes play the tracks of the CD stored in the iTunes library.

Since there is no central Internet database of CD barcodes, so you need to assign the barcodes to your music first before you can use it. The program has a Learn and aSearch mode.

In the Extreme BarCodes settings you are able to define standards for the appearance of your barcode. Select whether the barcode should be human readable (whether the barcode should contain text), whether the first and last digit should be placed outside the barcode area, whether the barcode should contain an extra barcode (with 2 or 5 digits), and which text and font you like to use.

Toast Video Remote 1.0.1 is designed to fix a bug in the previous release of this useful product.

The problem: The "Toast Video Player 1.0" app included with Roxio's Toast Titanium 8 has a bug in it which prevents the jump forward/jump backward and fast forward/rewind features from working properly. See the Roxio forums for a discussion of this problem.

The solution: A small AppleScript Studio (XCode) app that uses Apple's GUI Scripting (Enable Access for Assistive Devices in the Universal Access preference pane in System Preferences must be checked for this app to work) and Extra Suites 1.1 to precisely click on the progress bar in the Toast Video Player remote control, which is the only reliable way to advance or reverse through a video in that app.

There are some limitations to this solution:

• This solution only solves the jump forward/jump backward problem--I don't see a way to solve the fast forward/rewind problem.
• Since the progress bar is only about 90 pixels long, this solution can only jump forward or backward about 1/90th of the video's length at a time.
