Free satellite map software for mac

Satellite Images is a free Dashboard widget that will display an animation of the latest satellite images of North and South America, including the Pacific and North Atlantic oceans.
Users can choose how fast the images rotate, how many images an animation includes and which area will be displayed.

Enhancements
- McGill near Montreal was incorrectly put in Nova Scotia. Fixed.

Need to know the time in different parts of the world? Time Map is an OS X Dashboard Widget that overlays city locations on a world map. All you have to do is select a city and it will show you the current time in that particular location and also tells you at a glance whether its day or night anywhere in the world.

Enhancements
- Added a preference to keep track of the city list position.
- This allows it to open automatically when you log back in.

Second Life Map Widget is created with the code wrote for the Main Grid map page. Second Life Map Widget will run under OS X 10.4.3 or later.

Installation: Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If youre using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widgets icon in the Widget Bar to open it.

If youre using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widgets icon in the Widget Bar to open it.

Usage: Use the on-map controls to pan or zoom. Change the name of the sim displayed or the coordinates to jump to that location. Double-click on the map to re-center. The teleport button will open the location in your Second Life client map, or open the client with that location as your login point.

Twin Cities Traffic Map is a simple widget for Mac OS X Tiger which will display the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s Twin Cities traffic map.

Due to the size of the map, the widget is rather large.

Twin Cities Traffic Map will be refreshed at Command-R.

CAF Maps is an USA map db for informational and reference purposes only. You can also import pictures and add more details about each state. It includes all Zip codes and Towns.

Use it to make maps for vacation driving instructions. A great way to educate your children about the history of your State. Fun for the whole family to play memory games such as, State Capital, Bird, Flower, etc...

To add photos, just click on the photo frame in (Browse mode) and then click on the import button or copy and paste.

SA Goon World Map is a parser for the world map of SA Goons.
Database files needed available as separate download.
Tarkus made the orignal Windows version and the database, but after a hard disk crash the project was dropped, and so was my Mac version.
Enhancements:
- New database format.
- This version was never finished, so the map feature is drastically worse than in 1.0

These two AppleScripts will go to either Weather.com or AccuWeather and download the most current Animated weather maps.
The maps from Weather.com are actually a series of 5 images, so this eliminates the need for one to go to 5 different URLs and download the maps individually. The maps from AccuWeather are layered, so that the overlays (roads, names, markers) are each seperate image files from the actual map.
This downloads all the necessary image files so that you can put them together in an image/video editor (Photoshop, FCP).
