SMSLib is the free library you can use with SeisMac and SeisMaCalibrate to access the Sudden Motion Sensors in recent Macintosh laptops. Written in Objective-C, it provides easy and stable access, abstracting hardware differences across eleven different models of laptop.
For better accuracy, you can use SeisMaCalibrate to calibrate your laptops Sudden Motion Sensors. SMSLib is open source, released under the University of Illinois/NCSA Open Source License.
For example, if you open the Terminal, change to the directory containing smsutil, and type:
./smsutil -i0.01 -c1000 -atxyz -s09 >capture.txt
then smsutil will start sampling every 10ms, running for 1000 samples (10 seconds), writing one line per sample into the file capture.txt, with each line including the time in milliseconds since smsutil started, and the calibrated x, y and z axis values, all separated by tabs.
Enhancements:
- Improved debugging data (now shows 10Hz sine waves, decaying over 3 seconds, with X, Y and Z axes staggered by 1 second)
- Improved calibration with MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 17" (Y and Z axes reversed)

The Picture String Extensions module extends the Picture and String classes with methods to add converting a picture to or from a string.

PolVersioning is a developer tool for Project Builder that automatically stores build information into a file inside the resulting package.

The created file has the name "PolVersionInfo" and will be created in the resources folder of the package.

Since it is stored as a .plist, you can extract the information easily with Cocoa methods.

This synth-drum comes from the need of being able to tweak any parameter for each step in a sequencer.
The idea came few months ago when I was looking for a virtual drum machine. I couldnt find anything that could do the job, so I decided to build my own drum machine, and ended up with the MaXineDrum.
This knobby instrument uses a bit of CPU according to how many things are happening at once. I suggest you to use it with a low sampling rate (even for the type of sound that comes out of it). You can always use few steps and youll get a good variety of sounds as well.

Sierpens is a fun, educational app. It draws Sierpinski triangles using several different methods in an effort to be both instructive and entertaining. It also includes information about Prof. Waclaw Sierpinski and the triangle.
