SingleFramer is a frame-capture application developed in MAX/MSP/JITTER for students at the Cooper Union art school in NYC, USA.

It allows you to capture individual frames from a DV camera, either manually or automatically (time-lapse). You can use "onion-skinning" to see an overlay of your previous frame as you compose your shot. You can load an existing movie so you can match your setup from a previous day. (Useful if you need to break down borrowed equipment between shoots).

Picture Frame, the widget that lets you have any of your pictures a click away, resting on your Dashboard!

Instructions:

• Click and drag any image file
• Open Dashboard by pressing F12 (or any other shortcut key)
• Drag and drop into Picture Frame.

Flickrframe 2.3 is a superior and easy to use widget tool which lets you stream photos from your favourite Flickr user to a little frame on your dashboard.

SMSLib is the free library you can use with SeisMac and SeisMaCalibrate to access the Sudden Motion Sensors in recent Macintosh laptops. Written in Objective-C, it provides easy and stable access, abstracting hardware differences across eleven different models of laptop.
For better accuracy, you can use SeisMaCalibrate to calibrate your laptops Sudden Motion Sensors. SMSLib is open source, released under the University of Illinois/NCSA Open Source License.
For example, if you open the Terminal, change to the directory containing smsutil, and type:
./smsutil -i0.01 -c1000 -atxyz -s09 >capture.txt
then smsutil will start sampling every 10ms, running for 1000 samples (10 seconds), writing one line per sample into the file capture.txt, with each line including the time in milliseconds since smsutil started, and the calibrated x, y and z axis values, all separated by tabs.

SplitBrowser 0.4.6 is a powerful and popular utility which allows you to display multiple HTML pages on single window. You can customize the size of each frame and display window into full screen mode.

Frame Image is an AppleScript for PhotoFlash that will create a frame around the frontmost image. You can indicate the thickness and the script uses either black or the current background color for the frame.
