MiaouIRC is another alternative to an IRC client like mIRC more>>
First of all, it must be easy to use, intuitive, and very friendly. It is also entirely RFC 1459-compatible. It must graphically customizable, but remains very simple. It is the main reason why the Java/Swing library has been used to the development of the IRC client with Java 2. But the program is still in development and stable.
So, MiaouIRC is multi-platform, because of the Java language capacity.
Main features:
- The possibility for choosing the Look And Feel
- DCC SEND, CHAT and OFFER with a DCC queue monitoring. Very useful for an intensive use on "DCCing" with FServ IRC Bot !

Stalker CommuniGate List 1.5.1
Stalker CommuniGate List is a beneficial and easy-to-use communication module which implements mailing lists and message distribution. more>>
Stalker CommuniGate List 1.5.1 is a beneficial and easy-to-use communication module which implements mailing lists and message distribution.
The module itself maintains lists information, creating of message digests, and message distribution. Actual message delivery is implemented with the CommuniGate kernel and other CommuniGate modules. Mailing lists used for message distribution can contain E-mail, Fax, Pager and other addresses supported with the CommuniGate system. The List module can maintain several mailing lists simultaneously. Each mailing list can have its own set of options. Since the List module receives all messages via the CommuniGate kernel, data conversions (as MIME decoding) are always performed.
The List supports the "feed" operation mode, when each posted message is immediately distributed to all subscribers. List also supports the "digest" operation mode, when posted messages are composed into digests which are sent to the subscribers at specified times. The List supports archiving of digests and retrieving of back issues via E-mail and supports moderated mailing lists. List stores subscription lists as tab-delimited text files. It allows you to create applications that can easily manipulate with mailing lists. List is optimized to process large (multi-thousand subscribers) mailing lists effectively.
TNEF's Enough 2.2
TNEFs Enough brings you an interesting and simple to use tool that allows Macs to read and extract files from Microsoft TNEF stream files. more>>
TNEF's Enough 2.2 brings you an interesting and simple to use tool that allows Macs to read and extract files from Microsoft TNEF stream files. The files are usually received by SMTP based e-mail programs from Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Outlook users. The SMTP based e-mail program will usually receive either a MIME attachment named "winmail.dat" or a MIME attachment with the type "application/ms-tnef."
The file is a rich text (or MAPI) message that is sent from Outlook to Exchange. When Exchange sends the message to an outside server it writes the MAPI message as a MIME attachment. The unfortunate side effect of this plan is if the Outlook user has someone in their address book as a person who can receive "Rich Text" then the user will receive the TNEF file whether the user uses Outlook or not.
Enhancements:
- Support PPC and Intel Macs for OS versions 10.5/10.6.
Transmission 1.71
Easy-to-use, highly tweakable BitTorrent client. more>>
Transmission 1.71 is a really superior tool which has been built from the ground up to be a lightweight, yet powerful BitTorrent client.
Its simple, intuitive interface is designed to integrate tightly with whatever computing environment you choose to use. Transmission strikes a balance between providing useful functionality without feature bloat.
Major Features:
- Easy: Transmission is designed from the ground up to balance power with simplicity. We've set initial preferences so things "Just Work", while advanced features like watch directories, bad peer blocking, and the web interface can be configured with just a few clicks. When Ubuntu chose Transmission as its default BitTorrent client, one of the most-cited reasons was its easy learning curve.
- Lean: With few dependencies and written in C, Transmission has the lowest memory footprint of any BitTorrent client we've seen. It's also the client of choice on low-memory hardware. Imageshack chose Transmission for its BitTorrent farms because the competition "requires amounts of memory several times greater than Transmission".
- Native:
- Unlike some cross-platform programs, Transmission seamlessly integrates with your operating system. The Mac OS X interface is written in Objective-C and uses Growl notifications and dock badging to keep you informed.
- The GTK+ interface has been carefully written with the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines in mind. It uses libnotify for torrent notification, DBUS for hibernation management, and GIO for watch directories.
- Powerful: Transmission has the features you expect in a BitTorrent client: encryption, a web-based interface, peer exchange, UPnP and NAT-PMP port forwarding, web seed support, watch directories, tracker editing, global and per-torrent speed limits, and more.
- Free: Transmission is free software. All its code is freely available online and is licensed under either the GNU Public License v2 or the MIT License. The development team welcomes anyone who is interested in contributing code, documentation, translations, or other help.
Enhancements:
- All Platforms
-
- Fix 1.70 bug that caused high CPU use in high-peer swarms
- Fix 1.70 build problems with DHT and libevent
- Daemon: Fix watchdir issue on OSes that don't have inotify
- GTK+
-
- Fix 1.70 intltool build problem
- Fix crash when the OS's stock mime-type icons are misconfigured
- Handle very long torrent file lists faster
- Web Client: Fix 1.70 bug where some torrents appeared to be duplicates

Burst Digest Messages 1.1
Burst Digest Messages is one of the most advanced communication application for MAC. This AppleScript for Mail will take one or more selected MIME digest messages more>>
Burst Digest Messages 1.1 is one of the most advanced communication application for MAC. This AppleScript for Mail will take one or more selected MIME digest messages (messages formatted as either multipart/digest (MIME digest) according to RFC2046 or simple digest as defined by RFC1153) and extract the individual messages from the digest message - this is especially useful if you are subscribed to a mailing list in digest format but want to reply to a single message in the digest rather than the digest message itself.
The individual messages will be moved to the same mailbox as the original digest message and the temporary Import folder will be deleted (note that the root "Import" folder currently cannot be deleted due to a bug in Mail's AppleScript implementation). When running the script for the first time, the user can choose whether or not to delete the digest message upon successful extraction of the individual messages.
Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.4 or higher
