Vega Trek is a 3D space combat game set in the Star Trek universe. This release allows you to pilot ships from the Klingons, Romulans and Federation in everything from one-on-one border encouters to full blown fleet battles.

Weve spent a lot of time on our starship models, and are very proud of the specular lighting, glowmaps, and detail textures weve applied to them.

We plan on implementing dynamic universe features in the near future that would allow players to make a living as either an officer in Starfleet, a civilian merchant, or even a ruthless mercenary!

Players can battle alien species in intense locales as they take on the role of Lieutenant Alexander Munroe, leader of the Hazard Team in Activisions Star Trek Elite Force II.

In this sequel to Star Trek Voyager Elite Force, gangs of horrifying creatures are attacking ships and colonies throughout the galaxy. As leader of the Starfleets Hazard Team, players must lead the squad through strange new worlds to eliminate the aliens threat once and for all.

Players will battle classic Star Trek villains such as the Borg, Klingons and Romulans as well as never before seen alien species. Using 13 different weapons and gear including a compression rifle, multi-functional grenade launcher, and tetryon gatling gun, the Hazard Team must destroy invaders and rid the galaxy of these unwanted visitors. Missions include both solo and team-based options.

The innovative gameplay features allow players to destroy their opponents in fast-paced multiplayer games such as deathmatch-style Holomatch, Disintegration, Capture the Flag, Action Hero and many others.

The Romulans have launched a surprise attack against several important Federation Outposts on the periphery of the neutral zone! There is only one Federation starship close enough to evacuate the Outposts before they are destroyed or captured: The U.S.S. Enterprise!

Rescue! is a color-capable action adventure inspired by the Star Trek universe.

You are the Captain of the Enterprise, a powerful and complex starship. Your mission: Guide the Enterprise through hostile, enemy-infested space to each of the threatened Federation Outposts, evacuate the colonists that reside in them, and bring them to safety at a Starbase. This is a difficult assignment, Captain. YOU ARE AUTHORIZED TO USE WHATEVER FORCE IS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE MISSION.

Bug fixes:
· There were widespread problems with the new 4 channel sounds that I introduced in version 2.0.4. These problems have for the most part been rectified. However, if you are using System 7.1.2 or earlier, its important to make sure that you have Apples SOUND MANAGER extension (version 3.0 or later) installed in your Extensions folder. (System 7.5 and later versions have the Sound Manager 3.0 built in.)
· The combination of Rescue! 2.0.5 and Sound Manager 3.0 should let most users enjoy the full 4 channel sound features of Rescue!. Some early Macs such as the Plus and SE do not have the required hardware to support multichannel sound output, however, and on these machines Rescue! will revert to the older single-channel sound format.
· Im pretty sure that other bugs such as colonists beaming halfway across the galaxy to Altair 1 etc. were related to the corruptive sound bug and should now be fixed. I have been unable to reproduce these errors in version 2.0.5. Please let me know if they are still occurring on your Mac!
· The memory requirement has been increased to 2200 K to provide some breathing room for the sounds and graphics. Black & white users still need only 1000 K.

Improvements and new features in 2.0.5:
· The wormhole graphics have been vastly improved. Check them out!
· Single and Multi Channel Output selectors have been added to the Options menu under "Sounds". You may want to switch to single channel sounds if you play Rescue! when you have other applications or extensions running which are sound intensive (such as PlainTalk.)
· Some minor tweaks and adjustments have been made to many areas of the program.
· As always, theres a couple of other new, undocumented "extras" with this version...
