Burning Man Countdown is a Dashboard widget that counts down to the exact moment the ?Burning Man? is ignited. Although the default is set to this years event, you can change the date and time to accommodate the coming years. When the time is up, a message regarding the theme of 2008 and a Timothy Leary audio sample is played.
This widget was designed using JavaScript from Ada Bryon & MadMooses countdown widget also available at Apples OS X downloads. Many thanks to all the new developers who are inspired by the new OS and its many capabilities.
Enhancements
- Version 2.0 was rebuilt from the ground-up with apple?s secret new dashboard creation tool.
- This new version syncs to the BurnItMan.org group ical for the countdown date.
- The redesign also features a new graphic style as well as intelligent updating.

BitTyrant is designed to make efficient use of your scarce upload bandwidth, rewarding those users whose upload allocations are fair and only allocating excess capacity to other users.

Unlike Mac OS 9 where you could hold the option key down while emptying the trash, this does not work on Mac OS X (as of 10.3.3).
Trash Lock Files will unlock all the files in the trash and then send an AppleEvent to the Finder to empty the trash. You can also use Trash Lock Files to unlock all files within a folder you select.
