Roberts Text Cleanup is the perfect AppleScript for the busy Graphic Designer. This AppleScript helps you clean up imported text in QuarkXpress, fast and easy.

It removes extra spaces and tabs and converts occurrences of three periods to the ellipsis character. It does all this without affecting applied paragraph styles, and preserving specific local formatting, if present (bold, italics, bold-italics, etc.).

Address Actions is a small application that provides Services for working with text addresses.
Select an address in an email, webpage or other text, then choose Address Actions from the Services menu to:
- add the address to the Mac OS X Address Book, or
- display maps for Australian addresses.

Re-createFolders is an AppleScript droplet that re-creates the nested folder structure for the dropped item.

ReferenceFinder is a great tool that will help you because often in more complex origami models, one is faced with the difficulty of laying down creases that are in proportion with a central point or line, but which in turn might be somewhere in the middle of the paper.
Given coordinates, ReferenceFinder will outline, step-by-step, the folding sequence to reproduce that reference point with as much mathematical accuracy as possible.
ReferenceFinder immediately returns the 5 "best" short folding sequences that approximates that point or line.
The approximations are very good, often better than 1 part in 1000, which, in my experience, is about the limit of human folding precision. ReferenceFinder can parse simple algebraic expressions (thanks to a contribution from Carlos Furuti).
The default paper shape is a unit square, but you can change the dimensions for any rectangle (e.g., a silver rectangle or currency).
For each solution, ReferenceFinder reports the absolute error in distance, the rank (the number of folds needed), and the sequence of actions needed to construct the desired reference mark.

ThreadWorker is a class that aims to make it easy to offload a task to another thread and notify your application when youve completed the task.
Creating Multithreaded applications with Objective-C in Mac OS Xs Cocoa framework is easier than raw C code, but there are still some difficulties that ThreadWorker will help you overcome.

Enhancements
- Added ability to mark thread as cancelled.
- Changed the behavior when "longTask" takes a second argument. Instead of passing a proxy to the primary threads "self" it passes a references to the ThreadWorker. The recommended way to pass information from the primary, or originating, thread is to use an NSDictionary to pass in the Things Youll Need. See the Controller.m example.
- Changed threads termination behavior so that as soon as your "longTask:" is finished, the thread will exit. This means if you left anything on the NSRunLoop (or more likely an NSURL did it without your knowledge), it will get dumped.

There already is a calendar widget in Apple Dashboard, but there is none with a Star Trek - Next Generation look.
