Free ricochet modem scripts software for mac

Ricochet Modem Scripts is a set of two Modem Scripts for Ricochet modems (both for the original 28kbps and the new 128kbps modems). Modem Scripts are used with "Apple Remote Access" (ARA 2.0, 2.1), "Open Transport/PPP" (OT/PPP) and Remote Access 3.x.

The advantages of these scripts over the Ricochet script provided by Apple are:
• The 128k version sets the serial port to maximum speed, which is 230400 bps.
• Disconnect (hangup) is faster
• The 28k version can even reset the modem at the beginning of a call when it is still online from a previous connection (which can happen if your computer had crashes and was hard-reset). This could probably work in the 128k script, too, but I did not find the time to implement and test that yet. Let me know if you need that feature for the new modem, too.

Sig Management Scripts is a set of 2 AppleScripts for Outlook Express.

Export exports your sigs from OE into a file.

Import takes sigs in a file and makes them sigs in OE. Open this script and edit the variable theTop to be what you want above the sig. If you know about AppleScript then you can probably change how the sig is formatted as well.

Ircle shell scripts is a collection of 4 scripts uses AppleScripts "do shell script" to interact with Ircle.

Virex Folder Scan Scripts is a set of scripts that are a folder action that talk to the command line component of Virex 7.X so that you can autoscan downloaded files. If it doesnt find a virus, youll never know. If it does, you get a dialog telling you that it found a virus and deleted it.
You can attach this script to multiple folders, I use my desktop and my Erage attachments folder.
Enhancements:
- added a file/folder size compare loop for the downloads. It compares file sizes every 3 seconds, and when they match, downloads done, scan. This is obviously not foolproof, especially on balky modem lines, but if need be, I can increase this. just email me, jwelch@mit.edu, and let me know.

Free EPS Scripts are a set of two droplets that list the colors or fonts contained in an EPS file. Just drop an EPS file on either Droplet and watch it do its thing.

Get EPS Fonts will give you a dialog box with the list of Post Script Fonts displayed.

Get EPS Colors displays the colors used in an EPS File. Whats nice about both of these utilities is that you never have to open the files with their native application.
