Proverbs Widget is a Dashboard widget that displays a verse from Proverbs each time you open Dashboard. You can view the book of Proverbs one of two ways: in consecutive verse order, or in random order.
At the users preference, it can also be set to automatically load a new verse each time Dashboard is launched, or to only be changed by clicking the new verse button (so one can ponder each proverb for a while). It features three buttons, one to view the previous verse, one for the next verse, and one to view a random verse.
This version is the biggest update in the (short) history of this widget... with the largest enhancement being almost a complete rewrite of the underlying framework to support skipping through Proverbs chapter by chapter. Graphical enhancements include a new icon, new fonts, smoother corners, etc.
Now in this version, it features five buttons: two new buttons to scan through the book chapter by chapter, two to scan through by verse, and one to view a random verse.

dOc DVD Quotes 0.1 is considered as a smart and useful AppleScript Studio application for amusement that provides over 1800 movie quotes from DVDs collected by the reviewers. Each quote includes the character name, the actor name and the title of the DVD. A "Speak" button has the computer speak the quote and a "dOc! DVD Reviews" button that opens the DVD review of the currently displayed quote in the default web browser.
