These icons have been developed as a bi-product of another project. I thought someone might find them nice in a retro kind of way. All images are royalty free and can be used for whatever purposes you see fit. Included in the download are Icons, png files the illustrator file with original icons and an eps version of the illustrator file.

To use it you simply launch the application, press a number key that represents the number of minutes that you want dialogue to stay on screen for and hit the Return key.

The trouble with faster and faster computers is that you dont get to relax and think about other stuff while the progress bar winds its way very slowly across the dialogue box...
Photoshirk will faithfully recreate the retro-Photoshop experience so that you can daydream in peace.
Photoshirk creates a "Writing TIFF Format" progress dialogue that looks identical to the one that Photoshop uses.
To use it:
1. Launch Photoshirk
2. Press a number key (the number of minutes you want to rest for)
3. Press the return key
Thats it.
To make it *really* like Photoshop, Ive disabled the Cancel button :-)
If you want to stop the dialogue just press Command-Q or select Quit from the application window.

Bounce balls, destroy bricks, save the earth from alien invation and blow up ufos all in one game!
In Breakout, move the cursor to move your paddle. For every brick you destroy you earn 20 points. For every 1000 points you gain an extra ball.
In Pong move the cursor to move your paddle - you play against a computer opponent and the first to score 10 wins.
In Space Invaders use the arrow keys to move your ship and the space bar to fire. For every wave of aliens you destroy you earn an extra life.
In Spacewar! you fight against a number of alien opponents (1 to 3) and the goal is to destroy as many ships as you can in a minute (you and the aliens respawn when you are destroyed). The race who destroys the most ships is the winner. At the start of the game you can select your ship stats - shielding, engine speed and weapon fire rate.

Years ago I was asked to develop a little animation for a wait screen for a software on Windows. They simply wanted to have a ball move in a box and bounce on the sides of the box.
Well, that was boring! So I started adding some force fields and interactions to the balls. To visualize a force field, typically one will use lines, arrows, or some sort of vector-like graphic. While testing my software, at some point I got interested in the intensity alone. Not the direction. To represent the scalar I used a circle which radius would be linked to the intensity of the force-field at that point. I liked the visual of it. Actually, I liked it so much that I turned my wait screen into a screensaver.
