Lets say you have the two Address Book entries: "John Doe" and "Jane Doe". If John and Jane are married, you may set the appropriate "Related Name" fields in Address Book to denote this fact. To completely realize the relationship you will need to add a spouse relationship to both John and Janes entry - each pointing to the other. This violates my first law of data entry duplication: dont do it.
Thats where Relationship Completer comes in. Relationship Completer is an Address Book plug-in that will add a new menu item for "Related Names" that allows you to automatically complete the relationship by creating the complementary related name entry. Now all you need to do is create one of the spouse entries and the other one will be created automatically.

With nip2 you dont directly edit images; instead, like a spreadsheet, you build relationships between objects.
Spreadsheet-like
You enter formula (or select menu items) to describe how to make a new object from some of the objects you already have. nip2 keeps track of these relationships: if you make a change anywhere, nip2 automatically recalculates anything affected by the change.
Demand-driven
You can load a 500MB image, rotate it by 12 degrees, and immediately view the transformed image. This is because only the pixels needed to paint the display are actually calculated. You can add a slider, link it to the rotation, and as you drag the slider you can see your 500MB image spinning on the screen.
You can apply a filter to the rotated image, zoom in to check the effect on individual pixels, crop out a small section of the filtered image and save the cropped area to disc. All this happens pretty much instantly, with only a few mouse-clicks. The final save may take a little while (since nip2 does actually have to calculate some pixels then), but it will only calculate the pixels it absolutely has to (it will not rotate the entire 500MB image, for example).
Make your own dialogs
If you do something useful, you can turn it into a reuseable menu button with three mouseclicks.

You can use any image-processing operation in the VIPS operation database, including operations you have written yourself.
Powerful macro laguage
nip2 includes its own programming language. Its a higher-order lazy pure functional programming language, with classes. nip2 includes an integrated editor, compiler and debugger. Almost all of the menus/buttons/etc. are implemented using this extension language.
Command line and batch modes
Very handy if you need to process a lot of files. You can group objects in nip2 and process them all with one click, or you can use nip2 as a unix interpreter and write scripts which can be run by other programs. We have a website which uses nip2 as the backend to generate images on demand.

Frame Remote Control 2.1

This action was originally inspired by Target2Frames, but it is now completely original. As far as I know, it will work for Golive 4 to 6, but I make no guarantees.
What this script does, is when the page loads will first check to make sure that this frame isnt the parent frame (forcing to load into its frameset if it does) then directs another frame remotely to re-load or load a new page. How is this usefull? It is better than the Target2Frames action in that you no longer need to remember which two frames to control with a respective link. It basically is great for 3 frame web sites (navigation/subnavigation/content) where it creates a parent/child relationship with lets say your content/subnavigation frames. I know, its kind of hard to explain it, but youll just have to try it and make up your mind or wait months later when you need this feature :-)
Installation & Instructions:
Just drop this .action file into your link folder in your action folder of your GoLive application folder. To use it, just create a head action, select onLoad, and fill in the parent Frame, Frame name to control and URL to load into that frame name.... Thats it.
