Timed Recording is a Coaster script allows you to delay the start of a recording, and to specify the length of a recording.

You can optionally specify a segment length and the recording will be saved in chunks, which makes recording hours of content more feasible.

For example, you could have it broken into 80 minute chunks for CD use, or 30 minute chunks for archiving as MP3s.

iRecord provides basic timed-recording functionality for FireWire MPEG devices such as cable set-top boxes. For devices that support channel tuning, such as the Motorola DCT-6xxxx series of cable set-top boxes, iRecord will tune and record as well.
Record allows you to record from multiple FireWire devices for different events. Manage devices in the preferences window to hide FireWire devices you do not want to use.

RecordToDisk 1.1 is a rather praiseworthy program that gives SuperCard powerful audio recording capabilities. It is easy to use, requires very little RAM, and writes the data directly to the hard drive, so you'll never run out of recording time as long as you have hard drive space.

Rotate Files is an action for Automator designed to work with the Rename Finder Items Action; in particular it works with files generated by the Make Sequential option.
This option adds a sequence number to the files it receives, but it does not impose any upper limit to the number of files in the sequence; this may be useful in various situations, for example when creating a workflow for generating backup files, but with an upper limit to the number of backups preserved.

iRemove .DS_Store files 1.5.1 is able to support users to delete the invisible .DS_Store files on all mounted Disks from all folders and application packages. For those of you who want to delete the .DS_Store files quickly without resorting to the Terminal, this AppleScript does the trick. There are .DS_Store files in some of your (third-party) application packages. They are left there by the programmers and are totally useless. This script will quit the Finder and relaunch it at the end of the run.
