ADSL internet reconnect 1.0
ADSL internet reconnect checks internet connection each 1000 secs and reconnects if necessary more>>
The purpose is to avoid problems I experienced with my ADSL service provider. I got disconnected every couple of hours, and after each drop, for next 5-15 minutes the connection couldnt be established at all.
If automatic redial was applied all the time , the connection never got established. I realized that situation must be IDLE for these 5-15 minutes, in order to make a connection possible again. Same happened with 2 different ADSL modems. You can also simply edit the delay time yourself.

Enhancements:
- easier to read description;
- will no longer report errors on subsequent tries if application has already successfully done its job.
- This version repeats the killall command 5 times (with 5 second delay in between tries), since the first try frequently does not end the pppd processes.

Third, the Furthur Network and the application, "FurthurNet" is not FTP or an FTP replacement. FTP speeds are just not possible with FurthurNet due to its inherent design and resource usage. The speed in which you download at depends on a couple of different factors.

- Fixed several bugs that prevented filesets from completing/sharing when the user upgrades to JRE 1.5

- Improved the connection/disconnection code so that users wont appear as "ghosts," or be added incorrectly to the "peak uploaders" column as often
- Fixed a bug that prevented Furthur from automatically reconnecting to the network if the users Internet connection went dead
- Revamped the help dialogs and error messages, added tooltips, and generally make the user interface more helpful

OneButton FTP 0.1.1
OneButton FTP - Graphical FTP client with advanced queuing more>>
OneButton FTP will have a strong emphasis on drag and drop usability and file queuing.
There are a lot of nice graphical FTP clients for OS X out there right now, but none seem to have all the features everyone wants. Specifically, many of the current offerings dont offer a lot in the way of an advanced queuing system. Moreover, most of the good clients are not open source or free software.
OneButton FTP plans to change all this by bringing to the table a graphical FTP client for OS X that is Free Software (licensed under the terms of the GNU GPL) and has all of the nice features that users desire.
Enhancements:
- Added Edit feature. Select this from the Listing menu to download a file to a temporary location and open it in the editor you specify in OneButton FTP preferences. Every time you save the file, it will automatically be uploaded back to where you downloaded it from (as long as you keep the application open). If you are disconnected when you save, you will be reconnected.
- Fixed a bug that caused the program to crash when contributing anonymous statistics in Panther. If you disabled the feature because of this issue, please consider re-enabling it. We need to hear from Panther users to know they are out there!
- Added an SSL mode selection menu in new connection and edit bookmark windows. Use this to specify not to use SSL at all, to use explicit SSL (which is the most common), or to use implicit SSL (which is fairly rare).
- Fixed string encoding issue with French and Italian localizations that caused some characters to not be displayed.
- Removed the anonymous checkbox in new connection and edit connection windows. Whether or not a login is anonymous is now determined by whether or not a username is specified.
- Added a German localization.

SunPosition Widget 1.1
SunPosition Widget - connect to the SunPosition database and get useful informations more>>
The SunPosition widget will plot the suns path at 15 minute intervals for the selected date and location. Members can access the data printout page for that current selection directly from the widget. Azimuth, altitude calculations follow the sun through its path.
This widget is free to everyone, although SunPosition members get full access to all 48,532 location entries while non members have limited access to approximately 8,000 locations.
Every time you make a selection a spinner will appear in the top right corner of the widget to show data is being loaded, wait until the spinner stops before continuing each step. Data normally loads very fast, this of course depends on your connection but in tests it takes between 0.5 to 1 second per query with 1 Mb ADSL.
The widget has a built in mechanism to cache data, depending on the type of data this cache will be stored for a set time, so if you load the locations for United States then this information will be available without having to reconnect to the server for 72 hours, therefore making the widget even faster to use.
