Net Reconnector can reconnect you to your default internet connection automatically when you are disconnected (even when Dashboard is in the background).
It will also try to keep you from being disconnected.
It can display (and copy to the clipboard) your IP address.

End Hanging Disconnect is a Mac OS X application that will force-quit the infamous "endless disconnect" that can sometimes occur on dialup Internet connections.*
Simply run the application and enter your (admin) password. You may then reconnect to the Internet. This eliminates the need to restart the computer, which otherwise would often be necessary.
Enhancements:

- will no longer report errors on subsequent tries if application has already successfully done its job.
- This version repeats the killall command 5 times (with 5 second delay in between tries), since the first try frequently does not end the pppd processes.

SunPosition Widget is a small tool that will help you connect to the SunPosition database and return calculations for: Sunrise, Sunset, Civil Dawn, Civil Dusk, Sunrise azimuth, Sunset azimuth, Latitude, Longitude and Magnetic declination for the selected location.
The SunPosition widget will plot the suns path at 15 minute intervals for the selected date and location. Members can access the data printout page for that current selection directly from the widget. Azimuth, altitude calculations follow the sun through its path.
This widget is free to everyone, although SunPosition members get full access to all 48,532 location entries while non members have limited access to approximately 8,000 locations.
Every time you make a selection a spinner will appear in the top right corner of the widget to show data is being loaded, wait until the spinner stops before continuing each step. Data normally loads very fast, this of course depends on your connection but in tests it takes between 0.5 to 1 second per query with 1 Mb ADSL.
The widget has a built in mechanism to cache data, depending on the type of data this cache will be stored for a set time, so if you load the locations for United States then this information will be available without having to reconnect to the server for 72 hours, therefore making the widget even faster to use.
