AdiumList 1.0
AdiumList - A space-saving alternative to the main Adium contact list more>> AdiumList - A space-saving alternative to the main Adium contact list
AdiumList is designed to be a space-saving alternative to the main Adium contact list.
Buddy lists are one of those necessary evils of computing, because you dont need another window cluttering up your desktop. So whats the solution? Stick it in the dashboard! By using our AdiumList widget to display your contacts, you can have the benefit of using the best instant messaging client available for Macs and reclaim your lost screen space. Its win?win!
Note:
This widget is very much alpha/beta quality. It probably wont make your computer crash or freeze, but it doesnt have all the features we plan to implement yet. Its also not very good at displaying your own status. This is a problem with Adium, not our widget, and as soon as they get it fixed, the widget will be more accurate. The same applies to changing your online status.
Main features:
- Displays your contacts in order of status
- Icons showing their status
- Different text colours depending on contacts status
- Resizable.
Enhancements
- First non-beta release!
- Now displays status correctly
- Can set you global status
- These features require Adium v0.84 or higher!
KranK 1.11
KranK helps reclaim the Dashboard as the focal point for everything you do on a computer more>> KranK helps reclaim the Dashboard as the focal point for everything you do on a computer
KranK is a widget that works with The Omni Groups OmniFocus application.
Its development was inspired from David Allens Getting Things Done concept of breaking down tasks into actionable items he calls widgets. When tasks are small and actionable, the only thing you have to think about is cranking them.
No more procrastinating because your mind cant recall what things you need to do. All you have to do is KranK.
KranK helps reclaim the Dashboard as the focal point for everything you do on a computer. The Dashboard becomes your grounding point before jumping into the fray.
KranK accomplishes this by showing the Dashboard at timed intervals to inquire if you are still working on a task. This will help you stay focused on what you have planned out in OmniFocus and will also allow you to take a quick glimplse at the other widgets running in the Dashboard.
KranK is a tool to help you focus on what you have told yourself you want to focus on. You plan your life in OmniFocus by creating small actionable task "widgets". You process your task widgets using KranK.

PullTab 1.2
PullTab - Reclaim the Command-Tab and Command-Shift-Tab keystrokes more>>
PullTab allows you to reclaim the Command-Tab and Command-Shift-Tab keystrokes from the MacOS X Dock.
This allows you to have the best of both worlds, you can use the Dock alongside whatever third party application switcher best suits your needs.
PullTab is an Application Enhancer module (APE) for Unsanitys APE system. You must have Unsanity APE installed to use PullTab.
NOTE: PullTab is not an application switcher. It merely enables application switchers to work with Command-Tab on 10.2 or 10.3 systems. If you install PullTab without a third-party application switcher installed nothing bad will happen, you will just not be able to use Command-Tab to switch applications.
Enhancements:
- [FEATURE] Universal Binary for Application Enhancer 2.0 and later.

Setup and automation of those applications is fully controlled from within FullSWITCH. Automated applications include preflight and correction, color management, proofing, repurposing tools and more.
All this functionality is driven by the visual flow editor and supported by the robust automation tools that are at the core of all SWITCH products. The visual editor makes it as easy to work with configurators as it is to work with built-in tools.
FullSWITCH also offers professional activity logging and job processing statistics to help you locate critical points of the workflow. Logs can be exported to text or XML files. In addition the dashboard pane gives administrators a one-view look on how SWITCH is doing, what problem jobs have been detected and which processes might have problems. Robust error handling, customizable per flow if needed, helps to also handle problem cases.<<less
Turbo Mem 1.1.1
Turbo Mem - Defrag and reclaim your RAM more>>
TurboMem will reclaim RAM from MacOS and applications, so that when the application you are currently using needs memory, it is available. This will improve computer performance and frequent slow-downs or "lag" periods.
Turbo Mem has plenty of other great features, such as cache adjusting, defragmenting when reaching an "alarm" level or total RAM scrubbing. Turbo Mem is compatible with MacOS X. Since TurboMem tracks in real-time the memory status, it can be a great developer tool to see if your application has memory leaks.
The RAM allocation used by MacOS X is dynamic, but Turbo Mems system is much better: is is faster, since it tries to avoid at all costs virtual memory, and it is more intelligent, since it will take RAM from a background application when the foreground one needs some.
Delete Related Events (Entourage) 1.0
Delete Related Events (Entourage) - Delete selected calendar events more>>
This is particularly useful as time goes on and your Entourage database grows to very large proportions: with this script you can keep important past events for which you need a permanent record and delete the rest to reclaim the disk space and speed of Entourage.

KeyboardLock 1.5 is released with an aim to offer users the pleasure of reclaiming desktop space any time you need it by locking your keyboard. Once locked, you can safely place things on it, and still use your Mac for anything that doesn't involve typing. The keyboard is toggled simply by moving the mouse to one corner of the screen, so it's a snap to use. Or you can use AppleScript to password protect your keyboard.

Mountain Climbing Journal 3.0
Categorize keywords based on a user chosen list of categories Mountain Climbing Journal is a free general purpose journal application released under the GPL that categorizes keywords based on a user more>> Categorize keywords based on a user chosen list of categories
Mountain Climbing Journal is a free general purpose journal application released under the GPL that categorizes keywords based on a user chosen list of categories, as well as by person, place, thing, and time.
The keywords are generated by simply highlighting the keyword and clicking the appropriate icon. Navigation of the resulting collection of keywords and articles is quick and easy, with the keywords showing up in red in the journal entry box when chosen.
I have made this application using icons that are not specific to a particular language. I also provide Windows, Mac OS X, and GNU/Linux versions of the program. The application is a single executable that fits on a diskette when compressed.
I have struggled for many years to weave various journal entries into a coherent story, as well as reclaim links between memories and journal entries. Not only does this program fit the purpose of a personal journal well, but the means of classification fits with other bodies of knowledge. For instance, maintaining a journal for network administration, general household operation, or even a fictional basis for a book would be greatly assisted by this application.
Keeping a journal means quite a bit to me. For more on what I think this means, why I call this a mountain climbing journal, and what the hexagram means in the application, see K?n.
Enhancements
- Version 3.0 includes an updated gtk.

Memory Hog 1.0 delivers new and enriched capabilities designed to eat memory and allocate memory to itself in "chunks" every second while told to do so. You can start and stop the memory allocation process, and you can reclaim all the used memory back whenever you want. You could use this tool to flush all other applications out of real RAM, or to test virtual memory performance. It's just something interesting to play with. Source code is included.
Requirements: Mac OS X 10.1 or later.
Swap Cop 1.1.2
Swap Cop - Move OSX swap files to different volumes. more>>
I removed Linux, since I could SSH, emacs, and perl perfectly fine in OS X, and the old Linux directory became an MP3 disk. But OS X is huge, and I felt a little cramped in the 1.7 GB partition, and backing up all the data I had would be too difficult, so repartitioning was out of the question.
But even that was not enough. I saw that there was a swap disk that was taking up a minimum of 80 MB, and more likely 160 MB or more (increasing in size as you use OS X). So why not move it to my MP3 partition (where space wasnt as much an issue), and reclaim the space on my main disk. Thus Swap Cop was born.
Why would you want to do this? Perhaps you are in the same position with an ill-arranged partitioning scheme like I was.
Or maybe you have a small disk that you would like to dedicate to swapping, to increase your OS performance. I originally made the change by hand, but realized that it wouldnt be too hard to have a user friendly software that would take care of it.

Monolingual 1.4.1 is known as a useful program for removing unnecessary language resources from Mac OS X, in order to reclaim several hundred megabytes of disk space.
Many users use my computer in only one (human) language - English. And they're willing to bet that you do too, albeit perhaps not English. So why do you have a bunch of localization files for the Mac OS X operating system filling up your hard drive? Enter Monolingual - a handy utility for reclaiming your space for more useful things like international mp3 files, email or whatever you like.

Partition the hard-drive into three sections, one each for MacOS 9, LinuxPPC, and (for the future) OS X (with a few extra utility partitions for Linux swap space, etc.). But then OS X came along, and so did an MP3 collection.
