KaidCommander is a nice tool for Mac OS X to start and stop the kaid engine (from Team Xlink ).

It includes the engine GUIs jKaiui and Amaryllis.

The TINKER molecular modeling software is a complete and general package for molecular mechanics and dynamics, with some special features for biopolymers. TINKER has the ability to use any of several common parameter sets, such as Amber (ff94, ff96, ff98 and ff99), CHARMM (19 and 27), Allinger MM (MM2-1991 and MM3-2000), OPLS (OPLS-UA, OPLS-AA and OPLS-AA/L), Liam Dangs polarizable potentials, and our own AMOEBA polarizable atomic multipole force field. Parameter sets for other standard force fields such as GROMOS, UFF, ENCAD and MM4 are under consideration for future releases.

Calq is an easy to use, on demand calculator.
The idea behind Calq is to have a calculator handy when you need it do some basic calculations quickly.
Calq is there every time you need it, and its not in the way when you dont need it.
Enhancements:
- Added the option to show results in scientific notation (e.g. 1500000 is shown as 1,5E6).
- Fixed a problem where after login the calculator would not accept key presses until the Calq window was clicked.
- Changed the window background color to black instead of grey.

xProcess1 is the right tool to show you all the processes that are running on your Mac. Displays a users processes in a menubar drop down. Selecting a process will kill it.
Process window shows all running process and selecting the context menu will allow searching various websites for the process if it is not easily identifiable.
