Radiologik is a tool created for specific needs of radio broadcasting, in an accessible and focused way that no other Mac radio or DJing software has done.
Suited for LPFMs, online streaming radio stations, and school radio stations.
Being developed and tested on two live radio stations playing a variety of formats such as Rock, Classical, 20th century standards, special shows, and Old-time Radio. Scheduler to include IDing, dynamic Up Next announcements, Ads, Sweeps, date matching, and more.
Note:
Radiologik DJ is a currently a public beta and as such is free until the final 1.0 version is released. Pricing is not yet determined but the DJ will be available separately from the scheduler.
Main features:
- 3 main players and one library player.
- 3 main audio outputs selectable with user labels and quick switching.
- 1 library audio output.
- Players overlap for proper cold starts and stops (no cross-fade).
- Live searching in library like iTunes.
- Very fast iTune Library importing.
- Plays MP3, AAC, ITMS protected AAC, AIFF, WAV.
- Publishes artists and titles for Nicecast.
- Imports from iTunes playlists, accepts drags from iTunes, and drags from the Finder.
- Registers songs played with iTunes, adjusting the last played and play count fields.
- Includes a talk time counter so you can know when to stop talking when introducing a piece even if you dont know it well.
- Scheduler based on the AM 1710 scheduler in use for over two years.
System requirements:
- 1 GHz G4 or better.
- 1024x768 resolution or better.
Enhancements
- Items removed from Library using the delete key now no longer improperly reappear, was broken in 1.5.4
- Fade-ins on ducked tracks from voiceovers now fade-in to the duck volume level.
- Fixed ramp time display in library to properly show adjusted time for tracks with start trim.

Radiologik Scheduler uses iTunes as its database utilizing playlists and particularly smart playlists for song selection with its own top logic using a weekly schedule.
Currently the free Scheduler Basic is in beta and supports picks and fills from iTunes playlists with time instructions, artist separation, unique track checking, and best fit top of the hour placement for station IDs.
Scheduler Advanced is in development to support dynamic voice-over construction, date matching, time announcements and will sell separately later in 2007.
You may use the scheduler to run a 24/7 terrestrial or internet station complete with Station IDs and smart song selection. This Scheduler Basic is a free complement Radilogik DJ.

Enhancements
- Track Prep now does not attempt to open iTunes protected songs.
- Fixed crash when updating applescript menu after changes were made in scripts folder.
- Fixed a problem where a pick command could errantly act as a fill command when placing tracks before the start time of a segment with unique tracks or artist separation on.
